Letitia James Now Faces Two MORE Criminal Referrals For Fraudulent Claims
Whether or not the charges stick... how many documented lies will New Yorkers tolerate?

She can chalk this up to ‘revenge’ all she wants. But the fact remains, you’d better be prepared to play by the rules you enforce against others. And she went HARD looking for ticky-tack novel charges to level at Trump in an effort to bankrupt him, even when there was no injured party.
And now? Now it’s her turn under the microscope. All the world now knows about her efforts to claim a house in Virginia as her ‘primary residence’ while serving as the AG in NYC. And the detail involving her father’s name might even make Ilhan Omar cringe a little bit.
She dodged the bullet in Virginia as her case was dismissed, before it went to trial, on a legal technicality. But that wasn’t the end of the story. Possibly as a result of that earlier investigation, other interesting information about her official documents have come to the attention of law enforcement. And they have resulted in two more criminal referrals.
The documents appear to suggest James represented to the Illinois-based insurer that a Norfolk, Va., property she purchased in 2020 “would be occupied by a single adult, with no children,” Pulte wrote.
“Instead, according to the post, she knew the house was actually occupied by four people – three children and her niece,” the Housing chief continued. “As such, it appears Ms. James may have defrauded the Illinois-based insurance company.”
In the Florida referral, Pulte alleged James “made false representations” to Universal Property Insurance that the same Norfolk home “would be unoccupied five months out of the year.”
“According to the post, this was false,” he wrote. “The house was, in fact, occupied year-round by her niece.” —NYPost
Since Trump was the target of umpteen criminal and civil trials at different levels of government (whose breadcrumbs lead right back to Biden’s White House itself), we’ve got a loooooong way to go before poor little Letitia can claim to be uniquely and unfairly targeted.
Especially in the same week that Congress had a hearing about the FBI and DOJ signing off on the lawless monitoring of communication among 20% of GOP Senators (who are Constitutionally protected from such unannounced snooping by law) and privileged communications between Trump and his legal counsel, among others.
Whether any of these charges or referrals stick or not is anybody’s guess. But as Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton likes to remind us… when the left does it to us, (whether it’s Trump, Flynn, or Mike the process itself IS the punishment.
