Hegseth On How ‘Deal Team Six’ Protects Pentagon & Taxpayers From Financial Exploitation
Results-driven deliverables puts an end to fleecing the government and the taxpayer

For too long, being a military contractor was a licence to print money, regardless of whether the results they promised were ever delivered.
As a result, military readiness suffered despite massive financial investments, partly because money invested leaked out of its intended purposes and filled to pockets of sketchy businessmen who routinely failed to deliver on their promises with respect to price, timeline, and cost.
They made out like bandits while taxpayers — and our men and women in uniform — got left holding the bag.
The procurement process has always been a bloodbath for the taxpayers.
Until now.
If Hegseth makes good on what he’s promising in this video, those days are now over.
Thanks to President Trump’s $1.5 trillion defense budget, this War Department has moved from bureaucracy to business.

He tells us about ‘Deal Team Six’, the nickname for the top negotiators working with the Pentagon to make sure the companies we’re dealing with aren’t taking taxpayers to the cleaners.
What do you think that approach will do to the stories we keep hearing about $500 toilet seats or overpriced hammers?
Once we streamline the process, keeping greedy fingers out of the cookie jar, running the military on a budget gets a whole lot easier. And after years of the Pentagon failing audits, it might take a while to sort everything out, but Hegseth is set on becoming the first Secretary in years to present a clean audit before his term is ended.
