Dem Senator’s Attempt To Smear Treasury With Epstein Results In SPECTACULAR Backfire!

And just like that, the predator became the prey

If Dems can’t wield power, they’ll do the next best thing by weaponizing rhetoric. It’s a tactic that has worked for them for decades. But there’s something different about the cabinet picks of POTUS 47.

They don’t play along with the script of being Democrat whipping boys. If anything, they’re putting Dems on the defensive, and showing up with oppo research of their own. Like the time Kash Patel turned the tables on those claims he was a drunk, by throwing Sen Van Hollen’s $7000 bar tab in his face.

If politics is a blood sport, Trump’s appointees are no longer playing by the Marquess of Queensberry rules. Some, as we shall soon see with Bessent, are stone-cold killers.

That brings us up to speed for the exchange where Senator Ron Wyden tried to accuse the Treasury of a ‘coverup’ relating to Epstein’s financial records. It was a shameless attempt at guilt-by-association. Find some way — ANY way — to tie a news story to Trump or his appointees, and that will be the only thing they talk about in the midterm elections.

Does it matter if the accusations are true? Are you kidding? They’re still trying to use the ‘very fine people’ hoax when it was their own side (SPLC) that, if the grand jury is correct, helped ORGANIZE the little KKK soiree in Charlottesville. Like Harry Reid said when his claims about Romney not paying taxes were shown to be a lie ‘Romney didn’t win, did he’? It’s never been about the truth. It’s only ever been about the politics and power.

Dem Senator Ron Wyden set a trap and then promptly threw himself into it. (Wyden’s from Oregon, apparently. I looked it up so you wouldn’t have to.) Seems he never learned that lawyer’s axiom about never asking a question to which you do not know the answer. He tried to take a swing at Secretary Bessent by making accusations about a Treasury cover-up.

Bessent called that an egregious slander of the Treasury Department, and then he made Wyden regret asking the question in the first place by countering baseless allegations with hard-and-fast receipts. Receipts that directl connected the Senator’s own son with Jeffery Epstein. It involved a request for money, and the evidence was right there in the now-public email dump.

He didn’t just reference it… he made it colorful and memorable by including details about his son’s major investment — a strip club.

As a rule, a politician would NEVER want his immediate family, a strip club, and a figure like Epstein mentioned in the same conversation… let alone the same clip. But here we are.

Sen. Wyden has mendaciously slandered the treasury building — to cover up his son having an investment with Jeffrey Epstein to ask for funding. Thank-you.

Wyden made the mistake of handwaving the statement away as ‘ramblings’ of a ‘capo’. So he dropped the name of the son AND the name of the strip club.

That’s a little more direct than generalized innuendo.

The internet took over from there.

Viva Frei went to the source documents and found out Secretary Bessent was giving the furthest thing from ‘ramblings’. There’s stone-cold evidence of everything he asserted.

Catherine Herridge went further still.

Isn’t it interesting how many times Democrats think they have some way to ruin Republican reputations with the Epstein case — and every time they try, it always seems to end in friendly fire?

In this case, the father is exposing his own son… and quite possibly killing his own political future in the process.
