HILARIOUS: TMZ’s Sad Clown Harvey Levin Attempts Defending The Indefensible

King of the 'gotcha' moment can't face hard facts

Is this sad display a political blind spot, or a clown who can’t admit that he got played by an even bigger narcissist than anything Hollyweird ever produced?

It’s bad enough to be lied to. But to be the instrument that helped give credence to the lie? That’s a whole other level.

Now that the pandemic is done and dusted, with untold people thrown out of work and claims circulating that everything the massive damage, dislocation, and destruction of the COVID era — including a significant increase in deaths of despair after his policies were implemented.

Normally, TMZ is thrilled to show celebrities in awkward situations. Peering into their dating lives. Catching them in a ‘gotcha’ video. Maybe getting a mug shot or a clip of someone who’s had a few too many. His entire career is built on being a muckraker who gossips about the faux pas of the rich and famous.

But he’s still very much a political animal. And he tends to pull his punches when it hurts the ‘good guys’ in the political world. Wouldn’t want to give too much useful fodder to a Republican, after all.

We all knew he was a political hack, but this is level of pathetic bootlicking would be hard to watch… if it weren’t so tragically funny.

Isn’t it interesting how a swarm of orchestrated charges against Trump and those aligned with him did not provoke any angsty outrage from the professional gossip-monger. But let someone try to hold Fauci responsible for his role in trampling the Constitutional Rights of untold millions of Americans, and weaponizing a draconian government against ordinary citizens in order to push an agenda his own work journals acknowledges as a complete farce?

For al his hand-wringing, what of it? Supposing Fauci DID have the sunshine and lollypops history Levin claims he does (and it wouldn’t take much digging to blow those claims to Hell and back) what does it matter?

What do we remember Benedict Arnold for…? Many years of courageous generalship while fighting on the American side? Or the time he betrayed his own people and defected to the Redcoats?

Fauci is no better. In many ways, he’s worse. He pretended to be the Great Defender of Us All when really, we were all just a means to an end for him. Consequences be damned.
