HEY LIBS: Is It STILL ‘Colonialism’ When Your Jihadist Buddies Do It HERE?

Immigration from muslim countries is WAY down... and that's probably a good thing

Have you heard about immigration from Muslim countries cratering since the levels in 2024? Before you decide whether fact is good or bad, here’s a little context.

First up, here’s the statistic we’re talking about.

We hear an AWFUL lot about ideas like ‘Islamophobia’ kicked around by the political left, and we hear about ‘colonialization’ in the endless criticisms of America, but do you know what we NEVER hear about? We never hear about the nasty little habit Islam has of subjugating and enslaving their neighbours.

In fact, Iran’s 1979 revolution was itself just one more example of the Marxist left teaming up with Islam to foment a revolution to do exactly that. The Marxists never got the sorts of influence and control in the country they were hoping for, of course. Authoritarian tyrants tend not to work and play well with others. But they served as useful idiots and stepping stones the Islamists could — and did — use to seize political power.

The State Department published a 100-page document documenting the active cooperation of a Cuban offshoot of Stalinism that actively courted the third world and developed its own flavor of Marxist revolutionaries, one based on building coalitions of various flavors of ‘oppressed’ peoples and rallying them around a common enemy (the West), while fomenting revolution within the West. All sorts of ‘domestic’ activist groups have close cooperation with foreign state actors — Cuban and otherwise — sharing some version of the Marxist agenda of taking down America.

That agenda includes cooperation with groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. And anyone who has read the original Hamas Charter, they not only welcome, but celebrate the idea of CONQUEST as justification of their territorial gains. They claim to have conquered Israel, for example, and once conquered by Islam, no other entity has a right to control it. From Article 11 of the Charter, emphasis added:

It happened like this: When the leaders of the Islamic armies conquered Syria and Iraq, they sent to the Caliph of the Moslems, Umar bin-el-Khatab, asking for his advice concerning the conquered land – whether they should divide it among the soldiers, or leave it for its owners, or what? After consultations and discussions between the Caliph of the Moslems, Omar bin-el-Khatab and companions of the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, it was decided that the land should be left with its owners who could benefit by its fruit. As for the real ownership of the land and the land itself, it should be consecrated for Moslem generations till Judgement Day. Those who are on the land, are there only to benefit from its fruit. This Waqf remains as long as earth and heaven remain. Any procedure in contradiction to Islamic Sharia, where Palestine is concerned, is null and void.

When we see totalitarian impulses of conquest, and call them out by name, we in the West are NORMALLY inclined to reject them as repugnant to any decent civilization. But after the Cold War, we have been slow to do it when totalitarians are flying the banner of a Caliphate.

Claims that islamists only responded when subjected to the attacks of others fall flat, when you remember that Americans in 1785 (prior to the Barbary Wars) were attacked and taken hostage in the name of Islam. Obviously this was before Americans had even finalized their Constitution, and could hardly have been in response to America Bad.

Before that, they conquered much of Europe (see Vienna), after capturing Spain which followed North Africa, and before that, the original generation of Islam put the Middle East itself to the sword.

It ain’t for nothing he was dubbed ‘The Prophet Of The Sword’.

Obviously, the presence of any one individual muslim in America is no more a problem than one individual from any other culture showing up and more or less falling in with the ordinary rhythms of American life.

But the American way of life is centred around a central idea: The Constitution, and the freedoms it was written to uphold. So long as that is the central organizing principle of everyone here, we can have common cause. But what happens when even THAT is not commonly agreed on?

What do we do when people arrive with a deliberate agenda to subvert that central idea, and bend it into the service of (to them) a GREATER ideal which can and must uproot and replace the Constitution and those rights?

Here are a few videos in their own words: does this sound like the language of integration, or conquest and (to use the left’s favourite five-dollar buzzword) ‘colonialization’?

The culture that took the Christian world’s premier cathedral (the Haggia Sophia) and turned it into a mosque as a trophy of conquest is not shy about hiding their intentions of keeping that trend going:

When you see the streets blocked with praying, it’s worth asking why they don’t block the streets like that in Muslim countries.

Is it really a genuine expression of religious devotion, or is something else at play there?
