A Bush Appearance, Musk Brilliance, Ilhan Scandal … and More: Observations on Passing Scene
By Nate Clark

I occasionally write this column, named after the one penned periodically by the absolutely great Thomas Sowell, when enough cultural and political garbage fills the ash can of my mind and it dumps over onto the ground in a festering reek. That time has come again, so buckle up.
I just read today that Neil Bush, the ne’er-do-well son of former president George H. W. Bush, has ‘had an overflow of conscience’ and decided to ruin his family Thanksgiving this year by endorsing Texas Senate candidate James ‘6 Genders & Jesus is non-binary’ Talarico.
I would point out that this aged Bush moron who has clearly lost his mind also lost his soul and all his credibility decades ago when he was instrumental in ruining Silverado Savings & Loan in Colorado. Because of his ‘fiscal malfeasance and multiple conflicts of interest’ that bank failed and had to be bailed out by American taxpayers during the S&L crisis of 1988.
After being graciously invisible for 38 years, now he feels the need to reinsert himself back into the national spotlight to prove once again that he is still the same old malfeasant twit he always was, because he can’t ‘in good conscience’ support a dirtbag like Ken Paxton.
Okay, Kneel, nice to see you bought a conscience on Ebay. You can probably resell it there when you’re done with it.
After watching the Tesla Roadster flying car demonstration this week, it seems the only thing the brilliant and innovative Elon Musk seems incapable of so far is to be as stupid as a certain barmaid congresswoman from New York City, who in a recent interview laughingly gushed about how ‘dumb’ soon-to-be trillionaire Musk is…..I mean, like, umm, what has HE ever accomplished?? (cue flying car)
Mark Carney, the prime minister of Canada was absolutely fist-pumpingly flushed with political arrogance as he took a victory lap after Alberta’s secession vote failed this week. He could barely contain his self-admiration. Mark…..you had a Canadian province VOTING ON SECEDING FROM CANADA because they were so angered at your woke, anti-fossil fuel economic strangulation on their livelihood, when European nations have literally BEGGED them to produce oil and pipe it to the west coast for transport to Germany and other destinations. You and your effeminate, power-besotted predecessor Skippy Trudeau have angered the western provinces to the point of taking secession votes to leave your damned country rather than have to continue to be shackled by liberal eastern province wokelings that currently have control in Ottawa. We here in America love our Canadian neighbors to the north, but your odious government and you have fouled the relationship with us and now with several of your own provinces, and yet you strut around as though a failed secession vote is something to brag about. I hope it’s a long, cold winter up there this year.
Lastly, let us all bid a grateful ‘buh bye’ to the remarkably unlikeable Somali pirate… woops, I meant fraudster….oops, I mean ingrate, Ilhan Whateverherrealnameturnsouttob e. The DOJ finally got around to doing what many of us have been hoping would transpire before now, based not on her race, religion, nationality nor even her politics or denigration of our country, but rather the nagging appearance that something in her story (several somethings, actually) never added up to legitimacy. The mounting evidence isn’t looking favorable for the kerchiefed congresswoman, or should I say the maddening maven of Mogadishu.
I have entertained a recurring dream of a rusty old boat pulling up to the piratical shore of Somalia, and of Ilhan Omar being unceremoniously dumped on the beach with a steamer trunk, like the bitter lump of bile that she has proven to be. From marrying her brother fraudulently to gain him US citizenship, to Zero-to-$30 million-to $100,000 income in less than a year, empty barrels of wine sold, to lying about her age at the time she applied for US citizenship, to probable involvement in the Somali fraud schemes that have ravaged government aid programs to the tune of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars, the lump under her carpet is getting huge.
Pirates deserve marooning, and she is much overdue, after all her years of caustic criticism of a nation that opened its arms in empathy. That ship has sailed, Sweetie. And so shall you, God-willing. Don’t let the door….you know the rest.
