Race Reportedly The Central Motive For Cop-Killer In Philly Last Weekend
For context: the cop that SURVIVED was shot TWELVE times.

An upward trend of stories like this is as predictable as it is horrific.
At some point in our history activists traded the MLK “I Have A Dream” speech ideal of unity and integration for the Louis Farrakhan approach of antagonism and contempt. The dream of racial harmony was traded for the far more politically expedient formula of scapegoating and retribution.
But, as always, ideas have consequences. And when people buy into bad ideas, like the (long-debunked) claim that white cops are murdering unarmed black men at will, we should not be surprised to learn that the group that believes themselves to be hunted like animals would act on such a belief.
Here’s just one example of the ‘debunked’ part that you may want to keep handy in your bookmarks for anyone not already up to speed:
Sam Richards may be America’s most interesting professor. His Penn State course, @Soc119, teaches race and culture issues, but challenges typical talking points. You can tell Sam’s students enjoy being made to think rather than regurgitate. We need more Sam Richards in Higher Ed. https://t.co/VdPpFS80fc

Not everyone has Sam Richards for a prof, obviously, to counter the voices of, for example 60 Democrats (including the usual suspects from the Squad) claiming that there had been ‘more than 70 modern-day lynchings’ (2000-2025), including at least 10 in 2026. (To call their claims ‘unfounded’ and ‘overstated’ is an understatement. Many of them have been ruled suicides.)
But the public have been listening. Including one man in Philadelphia whose response to police arriving at his home last weekend is exactly the response you might expect from someone who had fully bought into the ‘black men being hunted by white cops’ rhetoric.
Shortly after midnight, officers were called and dispatched to a complaint of a person wielding a gun from a residential porch. Upon arriving at the home, the officers were ambushed when the suspect fired at the officers as they stepped onto the porch. Officer Seiber and a fellow officer were struck multiple times before the suspect fled down a nearby alley. The officers were transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where Officer Seiber succumbed to his wounds.
The second Philadelphia police officer shot in the ambush has not yet been publicly identified. The 33-year-old officer, a father of five, was shot 12 times and underwent surgery at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He was last reported to be in stable condition despite his serious injuries. — ProtectingTheBlue

Here’s where the story gets especially damning for the activist class and political opportunists that insist on inflaming racial tensions and ancient guilt rather than looking for ways to move forward together. Keep in mind, police responded to a call reporting that Eric Lewis had been on his front porch, brandishing his firearm. If a cop ignored that call, and a nearby civilian got hurt, there would be hell to pay.
So the cops showed up.
When they did, Lewis didn’t just shoot at them. He pumped round after round after round into them.
The one who lived was shot 12 times.
Twelve.
And police reports include the reason as stated in Eric Lewis’s own words:
A conservative commentator, Greg Price, shared a portion of the report, saying, “[Lewis] stated if the cops were black he would not have shot him… He was making racist remarks to the white police officers, saying he makes more money than them.”
At the hospital, Lewis also said that “Because they were white, they automatically grabbed me,” according to the report posted to social media by Price.
Lewis has been charged with murder and 10 counts of attempted murder for his alleged offenses against the wounded officer and the nine officers who were shot at while trying to detain Lewis. He was also charged with disarming a law enforcement officer and carrying a firearm without a license, the report said. — DailyCaller
It’s easy for the political left to scoff at traditional values, and Christian ones in particular.
But those values insist that faithful Christians treat every life as having worth because it is made in the image of God, and for that same reason.
Whatever worldview this guy holds to looks more like hard left’s recent acceptance as ends-justify-the-means political violence. Not just the literal ‘blood in the streets’ rhetoric and calls for the death of Republican leaders by fringe characters like Hasan Piker and the Democrats he endorses for movement.
I’m talking about the broader problem. The one where an alarming percentage of Democrats would welcome the death of Trump by any means necessary, or that even Axios ran polling showing the Democrat base was calling for their own leadership to go all in, even it it means to ‘get shot’ in the service of their political agenda.
