Town Council Opens With Prayer To Satan… Mayor Reacts Immediately

When Framers meant 'Nature and Nature's God'... they did NOT mean the corrupter of men's souls

Iowa town opens with a very different kind of ‘opening prayer’. The Christian mayor was having none of it.

The town of Ottumnwa has a rule allowing the opening prayer to be conducted by people of any faith or, presumably, no faith whatsoever.

Since it has lately become fashionable to not just mock Christianity, but to claim allegiance to Satan as a movement spurning any sense of moral absolutes (while defeating its own logic by also claiming to adhere to certain moral absolutes), it should not come as a surprise when someone, in the name of ‘Satan’, would offer a prayer in mockery of the God invoked by Founders and Framers alike both in America’s foundational documents, and in the hearts and minds of those who established it.

Maybe that clown skipped the Sunday School class that explained ‘satan’ was not a personal name like John or William, but a Hebrew description of what he’s like. “Accuser”. We all know if this edge lord stood up in front of a crowd of serious people and said ‘Hail, Accuser’, he’d be laughed out of the room for being the cringiest middle school poseur that ever cringed. But I digress.

Most conservative talking about this story probably stopped there.
But JD Rucker dug a little deeper and found the rest of the story:

The presiding mayor did NOT want an invocation to Satan to be defining the spiritual tone of his town. He spoke up and rebuked the curse that had been pronounced.

Notice how one of the elected officials objected but the Mayor overruled her, and allowing an additional unscheduled moment of silence to proceed anyway.

You might almost wonder if that mayor has already read Doug’s book?

‘I Talk Back To The Devil‘

I Talk Back to the Devil is an action manual that sports thirty pure fire proclamations against the powers of darkness in three different categories covering, the wealth, the walk and the warfare of the Christian against Satan and his defeated ilk.

This NEW book will put a serrated edge on the Christian’s prayer life in these troubled times. This slim tome will embolden the believer to stop taking Satan’s crap.
