Trump is receiving excellent care at Walter Reid. He’s already showing signs of being on the mend.
So much of the country concerned about him and praying for him — even Steven Colbert has rediscovered some shreds of his humanity — to wish the Trump family well and a speedy recovery.
Trump is replying to that outpouring of support by presenting a short video to keep us all aware of what’s going on.
The lack of oxygen bottles in use is a good sign that he is stronger than so many others in his position have been.

At the 2:40 mark, he answered any critics who may have wanted Trump to hide in a room on the second floor and quietly wait for the disease to go away.
That’s not what a leader does. A leader takes calculated risks… especially a leader of such a great nation as America.
As a leader, you have to confront problems.
I’m doing well, Melania is doing well. In saying so, he even joked about Melania’s relative youth compared to Trump.
He’s not out of the woods yet. That’s what the doctors are saying.
A lot could change on a moment’s notice, but at this point anyway, he’s not sounding like a man who’s in fear, or even in a fight for his life.
He’s sounding like a man waiting for the green light from his doctor to get back in the fray.
