When Trump cut funding to the World Health Organization, it wasn’t because he didn’t like science, it’s because he didn’t like paying for Communist Chinese Propaganda. Biden has since restored that funding.

It’s looking more and more like Trump was on the right side of this issue, and Old Joe was not.

When a supposedly independent nonprofit organization with a mandate for overseeing global health initiatives and concerns uses its resources and authority to help the Chinese Communist Party elite duck responsibility for a series of deliberate choices they made in the early days of the pandemic, some passing of the buck, obfuscation, jailing of whistleblowers and ejection of reporters, it’s hard to believe they are truly objective.

When financial ties are uncovered between the supposed ‘investigators’ that gave a report favorable to China’s role in the outbreak’s origins and the CCP… those doubts grow to towering proportions.

The World Health Organization (WHO) delegation concluded that it was “extremely unlikely” the virus came from a Chinese Communist Party lab despite reports showing China refused to share all relevant data to the early days of COVID-19.

But Koopman’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party, which resemble a similar relationship to fellow WHO researcher Peter Daszak, call into question the validity of the team’s findings.

A document entitled “Scientific Advisory Group members” from the World Health Organization (WHO) contains Koopman’s professional bio, which reveals she has served as a “member of the scientific advisory board of the Centres for Disease Control of Guangdong China“:

As member of the scientific advisory board of the Centres for Disease control of Guangdong China, she has advised on the building of the laboratory capacity for emerging infectious disease detection in this region, and has ongoing research collaborations trying to unravel emergence and spread of viruses through the animal production chain in this region. –National Pulse

Neither is this the only financial connection between her research and the CCP, as the source article shows.

Trump’s idea of cutting their funding until they decided to act according to their actual mandate seems perfectly rational. Biden’s plan of restoring that funding, no strings attached? Not so much.

If the World Health Organization is just becoming a spokes-muppet for the Chinese Government’s party line, how, exactly, does giving them money serve the national interest?
