So much for that old expression, You Can’t Fight City Hall.
You just need sufficient motivation, some loyal friends at your back … and maybe some heavy machinery.
The motivation was provided by the European nitrogen emissions crackdowns hurting farmers’ bottom lines.
The loyal friends? They would be a whole heap of hacked-off farmers and truckers.
And the heavy machinery? Well, we did mention they were farmers and truckers, right?
Authorities weren’t able to contain the revolt among a few Dutch farmers. The rebellion has begun to snowball.
Hoogstraten, a community of 20,000 people in the Antwerp region of Belgium, became the locus of some local farmer’s outrage. They took over City Hall.

The protesters, who set fires on the street and attempted to stage a break-in of the city hall, were reportedly angered by the local government expressing support for the national government’s plan to impose limits on nitrogen, a move that would disproportionately impact the farming industry, the local Het Laatste Nieuws newspaper reported.
Before imposing the restrictions, the national government requested advice from municipalities. While nearly every other local council submitted a negative view of the plans in the agricultural region, the local government of Hoogstraten submitted positive advice, despite the fact that a public survey had resulted in 373 objections compared to just 24 positive comments on the plan.
The failure to listen to the public sparked outrage amongst the farmers, who drove their tractors to the town centre, blockading the town hall and eventually attempting to break into the government building, though police ultimately prevented such action. –Breitbart

The protest in Belgium follows months of demonstrations in the Netherlands, where the Dutch farmers have risen up against the government of globalist PM Mark Rutte attempting to usher in similar measures, which could shut down as much as 30 per cent of all livestock farms in the nation. –Breitbart
The spike in energy prices has been hitting other people, too. It’s not just the farmers.
In Italy, people are burning their electric bill in the street.

And in Prague? Fifty thousand people took to the streets over this, and the war dragging on between Russia and Ukraine.
There is an ironclad rule that can mess up even the most ambitious authoritarian plans: That which cannot continue forever must eventually stop.
Some wealthy and influential people in Europe are just now learning that this rule apples to them just as much as it applies to the rest of us.
But can their big plas for us be derailed before we get to a point of no return?
We won’t have an answer to that until at LEAST the next election.
