Trump’s Divide-And-Conquer With Canada Is Already Getting Results

With Trudeau-less Canada leaderless, Provincial Premiers scramble to come up with a plan

With Trudeau gone and their federal government shut down until March, the provincial leaders are desperately trying to formulate a plan… but Trump’s already way ahead of them.

World leaders and global investors have made headlines for their Mar-A-Lago visits, but there’s another visit you may not have read about that will change the game in his negotiations with Canada.

Danielle Smith, the Premier of Alberta (analog to State Governor) recently came to visit Mar-A-Lago with a couple of other Canadian faces our readers will recognize:

That meeting on Monday has already paid dividends.

The other provincial premiers have sat down with Trudeau. Thieir goal?  Cooking up strategies to stick it to Trump’s administration if he goes ahead with the tariffs. They have suggested export taxes on energy.

There’s just one problem with that. (Well, one in particular.) Putting a tax on oil exports is about as popular in energy-rich Alberta as such a plan would be in, say, Texas or Pennsylvania. Oil is the lifeblood of Alberta’s economy, and by extension, the Canadian economy.

The Alberta Premier pushed back against her counterpart’s grand plan of punishing America. And why wouldn’t she? These same provinces blocked efforts to build pipelines across to ports on the Atlantic or Arctic Ocean.

Following Wednesday’s meeting, she said: “Federal officials continue to publicly and privately float the idea of cutting off energy supply to the U.S. and imposing export tariffs on Alberta energy and other products to the United States.”

She said Alberta “will simply not agree to export tariffs” or an outright ban on sending oil south of the border.

Trudeau’s comments come after Ontario Premier Doug Ford, who is the chair of the premiers’ group, delivered a similar message about Smith’s decision to withhold her support from the leaders’ statement the day before. Both Ford and Trudeau have said all options must remain on the table when it comes to ways Canada may respond to U.S tariffs. — National Post

East Coast Canada is going to be absolutely pooched if they push forward with this plan.  Proposed pipelines that would have let them bring Alberta energy to the rest of Canada were shut down by activists. What does that mean? It means the energy that big cities like Toronto or Montreal DO get even from Western Canada has to be routed there by way of pipelines in Michigan.

The big libs in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal would end up paying a self-imposed stupid tax, and the only one protecting them from their own reckless stupidity.

Biblical Badasses: The Women

In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
