SCOTUS Ruling Has Planned Parenthood Defenders In A Panic
The enthusiasm changes sharply when you provide just a little context...

In the second-last day of the current session, it was a 6-3 vote in favor of South Carolina making its own legislative decisions with respect to what does or does not qualify for taxpayer dollars.
South Carolina’s executive order excluding abortion providers from taxpayer funds was challenged in court, and fought all the way up to SCOTUS.
As of yesterday, a decision has been rendered in favor of the right of a state to made such decisions about their spending.
The left and their abortion zealots are as upset as you might expect. But the problem goes a lot deeper.
Beyond this ruling…
Before the SCOTUS ruling came to light, this is a relevant separate story that was written on just how ready the public is to defund Planned Parenthood.
Dems see abortion as a BIG winning issue for their politics. That’s only half the story. With a little background information, those numbers change in a hurry.
Remember those stories about polls showing Democrats that voted Biden in 2020 would have voted differently (or stayed home) if they knew the truth about negative news like the Biden laptop story, or positive news about Trump like the Abraham Accords?
Presidential elections aren’t the only example of Democrats relying on the ignorance of their voters. Sure enough, the same principle applies to Planned Parenthood.
The more people know the facts about what Planned Parenthood is doing, the more they support Planned Parenthood getting defunded.
You’re going to want some kind of evidence to back that up, naturally.
A newly released poll shows that most Americans support cutting Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funding after being told about health and safety concerns at the nation’s largest abortion provider.
A CRC Research survey for the Life Leadership Conference showed that 60% of registered voters polled agree with eliminating Planned Parenthood’s public funding, a provision in the federal budget reconciliation bill now before the Senate.
The poll question cited an explosive report about the decline in health care quality at Planned Parenthood affiliates, referring to a Feb. 15 expose in The New York Times headlined, “Botched care and tired staff: Planned Parenthood in crisis.” — Washington Times
As you get further into the article, it explains that once people hear reports of complaints about Planned Parenthood including “botched care, substandard facilities, medical negligence, inadequate staff training, unsanitary conditions, and using funds for lobbying and legal efforts instead of medical care”, they find that only 29% of people support tax dollars funding Planned Parenthood, while 60% support defunding it.
How exactly are the ‘Handmaid Tale’ cosplayers going to spin THIS particular bit of bad news? Or will they just hold their breath and hope nobody notices it?
