Hey Rashida: Why Did You Attend A Conference That Encouraged Sabotaging The US Miltary?
Here's a name you might not have thought about in a while...
Kudos to Steve Green for bringing a topic to our attention that most of us would have missed — if J6 was an ‘insurrection’, what do you call an elected official participating in a conference that calls for explicit acts against our military?
He, in turn, was tipped off by a City Journal article in which shone a light on the violent radical revolutionary nature of a conference in Detroit that Rashida Tlaib was a speaker, but even Cori Bush, for some reason, backed out at the last minute.
I never found the original City Journal article Steve was citing, another one brings us up to speed, and helpfully links to a social media post showing video in which we see just how far this Palestinian Youth Movement is willing to go to achieve their agenda. Here she is laying out a specific step-by-step plan of how to disrupt the manufacture of American F-35 Fighter jets by targeting specific bottlenecks in their Just-In-Time manufacture process.
From that link:
“70% of the cost of the F-35 program actually comes from the supply chain… It functions off of this just-in-time logistics process… If one specific node of the F-35 supply chain is intervened in, it has a huge impact.”
She pressed the audience to study the system and attack weak points with precision:
“We need to be surgical. We need to be strategic. And we need to be bold in our actions. Because there are many different points of these supply chains of death that we can intervene in and we must intervene in.”
I say again, that Rashida Tlaib was a SPEAKER at that same conference, and she counts herself as one of their number.
[…]Another unscrupulous activist even called on attendees to “intervene” in—that is, disrupt—American defense production supply chains.
One would expect anyone with pro-Western sympathies to avoid such blatant terrorist sympathizers. Politicians and activists have distanced themselves from far less controversial statements and movements. Even former Missouri representative Cori Bush decided not to attend this conference, apparently at the last minute.
Yet Congresswoman Tlaib not only failed to distance herself from the conference—she also amplified its message from the podium. “Every genocide enabler,” she thundered, “look at this room, mothef—–s. We ain’t going anywhere.” She received a standing ovation. “We are just growing and growing and growing.”
Who are “we”? At a conference where terrorist organizations, criminals, and revolutionary groups were celebrated, Tlaib didn’t merely attend; she explicitly identified herself as part of their movement, even as its spokespeople called for “taking out” Western leaders and supporting America’s sworn enemies. — CityJournal

But I would take the questions he has raised one step further…
Besides the obvious questions of have laws been broken, there’s an ethics question that Congress will now need to wrestle with.
Do the words she is recorded by multiple parties as saying in a conference in Detroit…
On the final day of the conference, U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib addressed attendees, stating, “We have been lied to, gaslit by a Democratic president and now a Republican president. Both parties vote time and time again to fund one of the worst crimes in history, but…outside of the decaying halls of the empire in Washington, D.C., we are winning…Real change doesn’t come from the cowards and warmongers in Congress. It comes from the streets. It comes from all of us mobilizing and seizing the power to resist and fight back.” — ADL
… sound like the words of a woman who has even the slightest intention of honoring her oath to uphold the Constitution? Or does she, like others of her stripe, hope for, and perhaps intentionally accelerate conditions that might believe would lead to its eventual collapse?
And if not, what next steps are worth taking?
