PLOT TWIST: Trump Team Demands Letitia James’s Comms As Accuser Cohen Claims She Coerced Testimony

It's hardly the first dirty lawfare trick Biden's attack dogs have been accused of... but it's a big one

Remember those accusations that Jack Smith’s team tried to strong-arm the lawyer of Trump’s Mar-a-lago co-defendant? Turns out that isn’t the only place get-Trump lawyers are accused of stepping outside of the law to take down Orange Man Bad.

The more we learn about these cases, the more apparent it is that Biden’s inner circle was helping run the plays. Grants given to Fani Willis. Biden’s office waiving Executive Privilege. And now?

Now we’ve got Trump’s own lawyer claiming that he was bullied into giving incriminating testimony against his former boss, one Donald J Trump. In fact, he celebrated by the left as chief witness in taking Trump down in the case where he made those financial arrangements in paying ‘Stormy Daniels’ not to go public with allegations of what she claims they did behind closed doors.

He wrote a substack, claiming that both Alvin Bragg and Letitia James used the ‘same playbook’ in strong-arming his testimony.

The man is a proven liar, but if his claims are true, they would not rest on the reliability of his word, they would be substantiated by the communications itself between Cohen and any of the lawyers who were gunning for Trump that tried to put the squeeze on him.

President Trump’s lawyers Wednesday demanded the release of all communications between Michael Cohen and New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office in response to a “revelatory” Substack post the ex-fixer made where he claimed he was “pressured and coerced” to testify against Trump.

The 25-page filing comes about a month before Trump’s team is due to file a brief with the New York State Court of Appeals in response to James’ request for the half-billion-dollar civil fraud penalty against the president – which was thrown out last August – to be reinstated.

The president’s legal team called for an order requiring the production of “all records of all communications between Michael D. Cohen” and the Democratic AG and her staff, including interview transcripts, notes, emails, letters and recordings.
[…] Cohen, in a bombshell Jan. 16 Substack post, accused James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of forcing him to testify against Trump in their civil fraud and “hush money” cases against the now-sitting president.
“I felt compelled and coerced to deliver what they were seeking,” Cohen wrote. “Letitia James and Alvin Bragg may not share the same office or political calendar, but they share the same playbook.”

“From the time I first began meeting with lawyers from the Manhattan DA’s Office and the New York Attorney General’s Office in connection with their investigations of President Trump, and through the trials themselves, I felt pressured and coerced to only provide information and testimony that would satisfy the government’s desire to build the cases against and secure a judgment and convictions against President Trump,” he added. — NYPost

Importantly, the Trump team HAD requested any of the communications, interview notes and related materials the AG had with respect to their dealings with Cohen, but the were never provided.

Even now, the AG is stonewalling the question and it is unclear whether they are, in fact, preserving the documents as they have been instructed to do.

Not only would such a revelation be grounds to vacate the astronomical judgment that was handed down against Trump over a business deal in which nobody can yet articulate who or what the victim of his ‘crime’ actually was, (even the jury instructions were sketchy), but there is a non-zero possibility that it could open up consequence going the other way.

Aw shucks, wouldn’t it be a crying shame if a crooked AG got caught in a net of her own making?

Seems like a good time to remind our readers about this…

Giles Volume II The Trump Collection (Doug Giles Art Collection)

This Donald Trump art book is the victory lap that conservatives have been waiting for since 2020. This hard-cover, full-color glossy collection by conservative painter, Doug Giles, will entertain you for hours on end and quickly become a valuable collector’s item as an icon of the MAGA movement.

“I’ve had a blast painting my Trump Collection over the last seven years. Several of these paintings made me laugh so hard that milk came out of my nostrils, and I haven’t had milk for thirty-six years. These epic paintings now reside in bars, hunting camps, man caves, she sheds, trophy rooms, and God and Country MAGA homes from sea to shining
sea.

One word of warning before you purchase this Trump Collection: This book will spawn liberal tears, Marxist rage, and NeoCon hissy fits, of course.

Finally, I hope you thoroughly enjoy this DJT gaggle of my gadfly oil paintings.” God bless, and stay rowdy. Doug Giles
