University And Synagogue Now Latest Targets In Terror Attacks… Here’s What We Know

One was let out on early release after previous terror conviction

With the regime known as the world’s ‘leading state sponsor of terror’ on the brink, it’s not surprising that they, and their sympathizers would see this as the all-or-nothing moment to push their chips in.

Hours after the initial strike on their leaders, a short cryptic short-wave radio message read numbers out twice a day in Persian.

On a scratchy shortwave signal almost twice a day — in the early morning and early evening on Coordinated Universal Time — a man’s voice can be heard speaking Persian, counting out a series of apparently random numbers. The numbers are read out for varying stretches of time, followed by a pause in which the word tavajjoh — which translates as “attention” — is spoken three times. — RadioFreeEurope

Whether or not this message has any bearing on current events, it was taken as at least one possible signal (there may be others) that Iran was actively pressing to activate sleeper cells. Whether or not that was the case, even the reporting that Iran was activating sleeper cells could influence what the media loves to call ‘lone wolves’ to take action.

Whatever the reason, we have seen exactly that sort of uptick looking for soft targets of opportunity. In Houston, the guy who walked up to a bar and in Houston and started shooting strangers wore the ‘Property of Allah’ shirt an a t-shirt underneath with the Iranian regime’s flag. In front of Gracie’s Manor in New York, two self-proclaimed ISIS sympathizers threw real bombs at civilians and cops that (thankfully) failed to detonate. That’s not even counting the Thanksgiving attack in DC that took the life of one, and nearly two, members of the National Guard. He was one of the Afghanis resettled to America after the disaster at Abbey Gate.

This week, as the West coast watches the skies in response to possible attacks from the sky, we’ve seen two far more conventional attacks from simple motorists and passers-by.

The first attack fortunately claimed no victims besides the attacker himself.

Ayman Ghazali, 41, a restaurant worker in Dearborn Heights, is suspected of driving his truck into the synagogue just after noon Thursday and opening fire, before he was shot and killed by security, the sources said. They spoke only on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the details publicly.

Late Thursday night, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Ghazali was the individual who carried out the attack.

Ghazali, a native of Lebanon, was granted U.S. citizenship more than 10 years ago, under the Obama administration, according to the department. He entered the U.S. through Detroit on May 10, 2011, on an immigrant visa as the spouse of a U.S. citizen, a DHS statement said. He applied for naturalization on Oct. 20, 2015, and was granted citizenship on Feb. 5, 2016. — Detroit News

The report indicates that the renewed hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel has recently claimed the lives of relatives in Lebanon.

The facts of the attack at Old Dominion University are summarized in the original report by FBI Director Kash Patel in this way:

That ‘one person dead’ had a name. And a story. Here’s his.

News outlets like NBC are now describing the particulars of the attacker, including a previous conviction (and early release!) after giving material help to ISIS. His (failed) attempt to by an AK-47 and his (later successful) attempt to buy another firearm, the one he used in the murder of Lt. Col Brandon Shah.

Here’s the TL;DR version in point form.

Mohamed Jalloh, a combat engineer with no deployments as a combat engineer with the National Guard and an honourable discharge, shouted that all-too familiar battle cry as he took Shah’s life.

We remind our readers that Democrats are STILL blocking funding to Homeland Security — including airport security — in the midst of of this upsurge in attacks.

Because the don’t like ANY reversal of Biden’s 4 years of open borders.

(And we all know why.)
