When Sad Clowns Whine About Press Pool Ejection … Show Them Their Own Words
It's fine if someone does it to Fox News, right?
It’s easy to forget about The Potato, as he slides further and further from relevance, but his own words are a useful answer to journos with their knickers in a knot over the latest press pool announcement.
You will remember that MSNOW, Politico, and CNN from the White House Press pool, after opening it to some of the smaller independent reporters earlier in the year.
Predictably, Journos are livid. Threat to democracy, yada, yada, yada. Same old drill.
But should we buy their crocodile tears? Here’s Stelter pontification about White House access back when BIDEN was in the White House…

It wasn’t just Stelter’s own words. He sought out and brought on a guest who had made this point in an article.
Stelter’s own self-serving logic boomerangs right back at him. If you are a POLITICAL TOOL, more than a JOURNALISTIC ENTERPRISE, you have no reason to be ‘afforded the privileges that come with news gathering’. That’s the claim right.
Well, what is CNN if not a ‘political tool’.
Are you willing to live up to your own standards, there CNN?
Just as ONE for-instance among countless possible examples.
We all recall that CNN was the outfit that ASKED the ‘very fine people’ question and knew better than anyone else that they had deceptively cut it to exclude the following statement, which would have completely disarmed their narrative.
So you know what, it’s fine. You’re changing history. You’re changing culture. And you had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists — because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.
Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people. But you also had troublemakers, and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets, and with the baseball bats. You had a lot of bad people in the other group. — Global
It was a lie so pervasive that Joe Biden used it as the basis of the launch of his campaign. And CNN was at the heart of it. MSNOW and Politico are just as bad.
As for MSNOW? Pretty well any random five minutes of airtime should be enough to make the point. And Politico playbook is basically the Chuck Schumer talking points on any given day.
If they, in Stelter’s own words, are ‘political tools’, why should they take up space in the press pool that could be better used by journalists who have NOT earned the derisive moniker we’ve long since tagged Democrat media establishment with with.
It’s been a while since we used their proper title, but long-timer readers may remember it — ‘presstitutes’.
