MASSIVE Win For Americans Sick Of Companies Hiring Cheap Foreign Workers

That taxpayer-subsidized corporate free ride is coming to a screeching halt

None of the grandiose lefty promises about tuition relief matter a damn if the jobs you trained for go to foreign-born students at lower wages.

American students are stuck with the debt, while being outcompeted for jobs by others who just got here.

As with anything else in life, incentives drive behavior. Corporations (especially in Tech) have had reasons to lay off Americans at the very same time the are hiring thousands of foreign-born workers to fill those same jobs. That is translating into hundreds of thousands to several millions of well-paying jobs going to foreigners that COULD — and SHOULD — have gone to home-grown talent from across the fruited plains.

How do you fix a problem like that? Simple. You re-wire the incentive structures to make the emergency relief valve of hiring foreign workers MORE expensive than it would be to simply hire local.

And that’s exactly the solution Trump’s administration is now announcing.

Making America Great Again means prioritizing the future of American workers.

Full stop.

Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling gives the short-form summary of what the announcement will mean:

And here is the full 45 minute presser with VP Vance and others taking their turns addressing the issue. Vance singles out Microsoft in a pretty big way.

The worst offenders of that program have been identified, and are now disqualified from using the H1 Visa program at all.

Household names like Adobe and Microsoft won’t be contributing to the problem any more either. Any application they might make WILL be rejected.

Why? Well, that has something to do with an ongoing criminal investigation into their abuse of the system.
