Greta Thunburg Crashes Another Protest… Is She TRYING To Prove Rubio’s Point?

She's becoming the activist equivalent to Where's Waldo

When it comes to ‘famous for being famous’, the activist class can hardly point to a better poster child than Greta Thunberg.

Before we can see what Rubio was right about, we must first show Greta’s commitment to the left’s OmniCause.

Let’s take the 30,000 survey of what she’s been up to.

At first, she was slotted in pretty solidly as a child activist serving as the face of the Environmental Crisis. She and AOC both made hay on the cataclysmic End is Nigh claims of 12-years until the world will end (per 2018 IPCC Special Report), on which Greta based her ‘House Is On Fire’ speech and AOC based her Green New Deal (some of which was smuggled into policy under false pretences within the dishonestly-named ‘Inflation Reduction Act’.

Both because she catapulted to fame as a minor, and was described as having specific infirmities, she was celebrated for her heroic stands at the same time that criticism of her was seen as ‘punching down’.

Combine that dynamic with the new ‘influencer’ category of media star, hitting celebrity status with other activists was almost inevitable. She had a knack for finding herself in just the right place for a performative arrest that cost her little and while building her brand.

But as is often the case, (as per Alinsky rule 7) a tactic that drags on becomes a drag. When another issue comes along, the activist adjust their sails and ride the winds of public opinion in another direction.

The same is true of Greta. One day she might be with the sort of crowd that glues their hands to streets or throws soup on paintings. Another day she might be stumping for indigenous land rights. Then anti-war issues. (With an asterisk.) Fossil fuel camapaigns. On at least one embarrassing occasion, we get to see definitive proof that her ‘grassroots’ organizing is not NEARLY the organic system it is framed as being. To the point that a mistake on her part led to the arrest of a collaborator in India.

Thunberg had shared a “toolkit” or an action plan on Twitter which listed ways to help Indian farmers, who have been protesting agricultural reforms https://www.reuters.com/article/us-india-farms-protests-idUSKBN2A30QI they fear will ruin their livelihoods.
[…] Police have registered a case of sedition and criminal conspiracy. The colonial-era sedition law carries a penalty of life sentence.

“The toolkit sought to artificially amplify fake news through various tweets which they have created in the form of a tweet bank. And they sought the public to participate in the action on Jan 26 that was the Republic Day of India,” Nath said.

Indian politicians and activists on Monday condemned the arrest of a 22-year-old climate campaigner accused of sedition for helping edit an online document that Sweden’s Greta Thunberg had promoted in support of farmers protesting in the country. — NationalPost (2021)

She voiced her concerns about Ukraine. You might hope she was motivated by her concerns about the horrors of the killing and maiming of untold hundreds of thousands of people on both sides of the conflict. Such hopes would be disappointed by her ecological framing of her objection to war.

Ecocide.

Really? THAT’s what she’s upset about?
And she calls OTHER people monsters.
Moving on from ecocide, (whatever her reasons) she just ‘happens’ to harness the enormous leftwing energy that amassed behind the cause of Palestine…

Eventually she popped up again making a very public flotilla trip to Gaza.

We covered that drama as it unfolded, including claims that she was ‘attacked’ when evidence seems to suggest a misfiring of a flare gun on a mission whose most charitable framing would might be categorized as ‘performative’.

But she sailed into Israeli territory. Was arrested, fed, and sent home. Before you know it, she’s gone halfway around the world, from her flotilla in Gaza to a protest in Cuba. That was about the time Hasan Piker is said to have taken money from a Cuban operative to pay for his live-streamed visit to Havanna. Investigation into that event is believed to be ongoing.

As of today, Greta is right back in the middle of the news cycle. What are the odds?

She finds herself a participant in the latest round in riots that have been rocking France. Student riots, we are told. By students who have responded to concerns about not getting proper education funding by attacking schools and injuring teachers.

Perhaps that’s to be seen as evidence of their limited education. Or perhaps we’re just being played for fools by someone a foreign-born communist mayor trying to foment a revolution in France.

She looks into the camera, confidently asserting the riots are the direct result of inadequate investments in schools.

Even a sympathetic-to-moderate description of how these events unfolded look NOTHING like the scene Greta describes, and this story went to press almost 2 weeks ago:

Fueled by social media and immediately seized on by the radical left, the protest spread rapidly after September 21. High school students began mobilizing in every region of France (1,000 schools, or one in four, were affected as of Thursday, October 1), joined by university students, in what has become the largest youth movement since 2018, the year of major high school reforms, as well as the Yellow Vest protests.
But unacceptable violence has marked these actions, carried out by both inflamed youths and autonomous groups. The statistics are both unprecedented and alarming, with 235 students and teachers injured since the start of the movement, and 305 law enforcement officers injured on Thursday alone. Among the former are reckless users of fireworks. There have also been teenagers allegedly wounded by police. Teachers have put themselves at risk by stepping in between students and law enforcement in an attempt to limit the damage. When confronted with teenagers, police forces intervened without sufficient proportionality or discernment, contrary to the claims of the interior minister.

Supporting young people’s demands requires condemning this violence. Radical left-wing La France Insoumise (LFI), quick to move into its preferred territory – the young electorate of the suburbs – has nevertheless chosen ambiguity. “Violence can become legitimate at a certain point,” said Bally Bagayoko, the mayor of Saint-Denis. In doing so, LFI handed ammunition to its opponents. — Lemonde

At this point, more than 160,000 people have swelled the protest. Unsurprisingly, agitators are whipping up OTHERS to bear the brunt of a state trying to quell a revolution they are trying to foment. That fact itself will be held up as evidence against the state, and proof of the rightness of their cause. And then more students become grist for their mill.

Most of the money behind the funding are longstanding adult activist groups that have NO connection to do issues students care about.

Tale as old as time.

Was Marco Right?

This takes us back to Greta and her curious service of the ‘OmniCause’, at least some of which — in context provided by the India tweets — appears to be orchestrated by forces far removed from where events actually play out on the ground. And how does CUBA of all the crazy places tie into her Omnicause.

If Rubio is right, the Cuba question IS the story. This summer, Rubio’s State Department published a detailed report (100 pages long, including charts, photos and evidence) showing that where Russia and China have had some limited success in penetrating American culture with spies and subversives, Cuba has been far and away the most successful IC operation in terms of embedding and subverting across the Western Hemisphere.

They have been very busy, remaking their own band of Kremlin inspired and Stalinist-derived Marxism into a global brand who’s aim is to inflame local divisions along lines like race, religion, and culture, while creating a new network not among the traditional Western Powers, or Soviet Bloc Warsaw Pact powers, so much as a sustained attempt at wooing ‘everyone else’ into a third team.

Their relationships include Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, a variety of insurgent groups whose name you will recall from the Civil War era, and even one guy from Chicago in whose living room Obama first launched his Presidential run.

With the fall of Maduro in Venezuela, with Havana hemmed in, and with Iran suffering runaway inflation, the usual subversive meddling in the Western hemisphere is not what it once was. Together with the defunding of NGO slush funds, it’s amazing how quickly traditionally catholic countries throughout the Western Hemisphere are shedding their leftwing  allegiances.

One might almost suspect much of it was never real in the first place.
