Comey’s Latest Indictment Looks Kinda Like What Left Accused TRUMP Of Doing

Looking forward to 'no one is above the law' tweets from Media types

Tough week for the ‘nothing is happening’ crowd. Last week, two deep-state FBI types claiming to be ‘running a shadow government’ were busted. Now, Comey is facing charges for misuse of classified information.

Specifically, he’s being charged with ‘transmission’ of classified information. As in, an FBI director who’s job it is to oversee the investigation of criminal activities of others, was charged with willful commission of a crime in the handling of information the general public is not permitted to access.

Like the ‘shadow government’ people, it was a question of using his position of power to injure or destroy a political rival.

Since most media reports will be more interested in telling you why the story is a ‘nothingburger’ that will go nowhere, we’ll show our readers the charges and let them draw their own conclusions.

Is it possible that judges in DC are so shady and political that lawbreaking Democrats need never fear the consequences of their actions? Of course it is.

But there’s still a reason a judge hears the evidence BEFORE a verdict is rendered.

The process will play itself out, no matter how hard Comey has already fought (unsuccessfully) to have the charges thrown out.

A few phrases jumped out at me as I read this indictment that made me think this won’t be nearly the slam dunk win Comey is hoping to see. There’s a national security angle (ironic in light of the ‘Russia Hoax’ he helped orchestrate), in count one…

And in Count Two, I noticed something else. Conspiracy, along with ‘up to and including the date of this filing’.

It seems they are describing an ongoing conspiracy. If this works the way other conspiracy charges I’ve seen discussed in recent years, the clock on any statute of limitations is reset to zero on the date of the most recent action taken in connection with that conspiracy.

National Defense information, huh?

Meanwhile Biden’s army of media flunkies were having paroxysms over Trump keeping the most trivial of keepsakes.
