4 (+1) More Examples Of Dem Cheating And Election Shenanigans

Those Defending Democracy people are at it again

Funny how they keep announcing how ‘secure’ elections are, and then…?

Dems have been fighting like demons to block any attempt — however modest — to secure the vote and make election tampering difficult. In short, GOP wants it to be ‘easy to vote, hard to cheat’, but the other side wants to make it ‘hard to know if someone is cheating’.

As the saying goes, we are not the same.

Let’s have a look at some recent examples of election shenanigans and chicanery.

And we’ll begin with some good news. Trump scored an eleventh hour win (sort of) in sequestering and keeping separate 20,000 names believed to be unlawfully added to the voter list.

We don’t know how many names from this list would have voted BEFORE this ruling was handed down. But even modest wins in a part of the country that thumbs its nose at the law is worth celebrating.

We’ve got another wave of arrests for voter fraud…

We’ve got a story about Democrat dark money being connected to decoy Dan Sullivan’s Alaska campaign…

We’ve got a Democrat arrested for stealing an opponent’s election signs, and bringing them to her own home. (Oops. Didn’t see the Air Tag in that one, eh?)

It’s almost as if there’s some kind of a pattern developing among the ‘defenders of democracy’. Can’t quite put my finger on it.

Maybe an old AP story can help us think through the issue…

The Associated Press interviewed Salas frequently during the past three years, seeking answers to questions that, save for rumors, were left unanswered. Only recently did Salas agree to tell his full version of what happened. In his soft Spanish accent, Salas said that he decided to break his silence in quest of “peace of mind and to reveal to the people the corruption of politics.”

Salas says now that he lied during an aborted investigation of the election in 1948, when he testified that the vote count was proper and above board. “I was just going along with my party,” he says.

He told the AP that Parr ordered that 200-odd votes be added to Johnson’s total from Box 13. Salas said he saw the fraudulent votes added in alphabetical order and then certified them as authentic on orders from Parr.

The final statewide count, including Box 13 votes, gave Johnson an 87-vote margin in a total tally approaching 1 million and earned him the tongue-in-cheek nickname: “Landslide Lyndon.” — AP

Political machines and dirty tricks are nothing new for Democrats.

But what they really show is that they care more about pushing the desired outcome than they do about persuading people to freely choose to support them.

Then again that fits with another trend we’ve seen in politics.

The GOP upsets people with the promises they keep.
The left, on the other hand, upsets people when they execute a hidden agenda.

All too often, you have to vote for it to know what’s in it. And by then, the damage is done.
