Illinois Doctor Destroys Obama Care In One Amazing Sentence

This is one must-see video. And I wager you pass the link on to many friends for their enjoyment.

It’s by Dr. Barbara Bellar, a motor-scooter-riding animal lover, Army veteran and Republican attorney who’s taking on a massive challenge of the Chicago political machine for a state Senate seat to combat the fiscal insanity in Barack Obama’s adopted home state, which isn’t an easy job, as you might imagine, so she made this hilarious homemade video that captures the colossal stupidity of ObamaCare in one (very long) sentence, like this one.

Dr. Bellar says she could use some help from people who agree with her and support the idea of political diversity in a place that doesn’t have much but gave us President Obama anyway.

To call this socialized healthcare -
Obama Care is a misnomer….The President purposely lied! This is a tax and
anyone with economic sense knows it is a tax.

Obama doesn’t care that he told you
    this wasn’t a tax
Obama doesn’t care that this will create 159 new bureaucracies
    Obama
doesn’t care that this will create 47 new agencies and 67 new grant
    programs Obama
doesn’t care that the IRS will have to hire 16,500 new agents to enforce the
    ‘penalty’ portion of this.

The one thing that we can all take away from
the ruling is that Obama Care, whether the White House wants to admit it or
not, is a tax, and taxes are never good .
    We Americans have a
responsibility to watch our government, and after the Supreme Court’s ruling,
I’m all-in to defeat Barack Obama!!!!!

    • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

      Okay, so it’s a tax.

You’ve got health care through a private insurance company, delivered by a private practice physician, who practices in a private hospital, with machines and medicines invented, built or fabricated or manufactured by private companies, with pharmaceuticals and medical devices made by private corporations, and sold through the corner drug store.

Every step of the way is private, capitalist-driven business. The great economists von Mises and von Hayek defined socialism as “when the government owns and controls the means of production.” Under Obamacare, the government neither owns or controls any production at any step of the health care process.

Obviously, you need to revisit your high school economics notes to see what “socialism” really is. Obamacare is the polar opposite of socialism.

      • Jeremy

You need to actually work in a hospital. Every time Medicare/Medicaid says it’s only going to pay x amount of $ for something in a hospital then insurance companies follow suit.

Insurance companies don’t ask hospitals to document so many little things so that they will pay their portion of a procedure taking away Nurses time with patients and forcing them to sit in front of a PC more and more to document ridiculously tiny steps that should just be taken for granted. Medicare/Medicaid does.

Government indeed is controlling the means of production…It also owns it too.

        • Patti

Jeremy-You are 100% correct. Physicians who accept Medicare assignment receive only a portion of their fee. Also, if Medicare denies a claim, secondary ins. companies will more likely than not, deny it also. And don’t even get me started on Medicaid! The $ written off on a yearly basis by hospitals and Physicians is unreal! Medicaid also can deny medications for patients because there is a cheaper one available. Doesn’t matter if the one the Physician prescribes is the best for the specific illness. These government agencies are already regulating what they feel is an appropriate fee for services. And, they DON’T pay for numerous services, which means it is out-of-pocket for the patients. Explain to me why Medicare won’t pay for a Tetanus booster for a senior? Yes people, our government IS already involved neck deep in our healthcare!

          • mitch hampton

I don’t know why Medicare won’t pay for a Tetanus shot, but I have
decided to use “Common Sense”, about letting my doctor give me
one just because everyone’s doing it. I asked him, in his 35 year
career, how many cases of lockjaw has he treated. His response
was that he had never even seen a case before. I then asked him
what the protocol was if I were cut by a metal object and came in for
stitches. He said, to sew you up and give you a tetanus shot. That’s
when I said that I will not take one randomly. They are “practicing medicine”. What don’t we get here, folks? Don’t due away with
“Common Sense”, feel free to question your doctor’s logic. Any
            questions?

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ADBI53ZVWYDCEXOLV2PRGO3ZP4 David

And where exactly in the Constitution does it state that the government has the authority to:

        1) regulate health care
        2) regulate health care insurance
        3) create an insurance exchange
        4) mandate that everyone participate under penalty
        5) have a government agency determine if the medical treatment is necessary

None of those are “steps” of any sort in “private, capitalist-driven” businesses.

Okay, it MAY not be socialism (it actually is closer to classical economic fascism), but it doesn’t follow republicanism or the Constitution either.

In the Preamble, in the commerce clause, in the taxing clause. George Washington thought it was a good idea. Don’t give us that old canard about how the founders did things differently. Not on this issue.

Ed you need to read the bill. As I have. Do you really want a group of non doctors . Telling you what treatment you can have. Don’t tell me that is a myth. Because it is the bill, called the National Health Panel.

        • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

There is no agency in the bill called the “National Health Panel.” See here: http://housedocs.house.gov/energycommerce/ppacacon.pdf

That document is a .pdf that is searchable; feel free to look for anything you wish. A variety of advisory panels are established in the bill, to advise the Secretary of HHS on ways to reduce costs and improve care. None of them is called a “National Health Panel.”

I don’t like the non-doctors of my insurance company telling me what treatment I can have, contravening the best medical advice of my physician, no. The Affordable Health Care Act gets non-doctors from insurance companies out of the business of rationing health care, in most circumstances. The bill reduces health care rationing, not increases it.

          • mitch hampton

So you are telling us that you had rather the Government tell you what
procedures that you can have done. That makes perfect sense if you
are a non thinking vegetable type of human, but for the rest of us, I
don’t believe that will work. And we wonder how we let an Administration, like we have now take control of the White House.

          • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

No, I’m telling you that you have your health care rationed now by private death panels, and the Affordable Care Act eliminates them. Read the bill, will you?

  • Julene Sullivan

    She is a very humorous
speaker, however she is wrong if she intended to give out facts. Many
parts of the healthcare bill are ALREADY in effect. Children can no
longer be denied coverage due to a preexisting condition, women no
longer have to pay a higher rate than men. Insurers must spend 80 to 85%
of their premiums on actual healthcare and refund the difference to the
corporate or individual who hold the policy instead of the denials the
healthcare industry was giving out while lining their CEO’s pocket.
Children can stay on their parents policy until the age of 26. The
Medicare doughnut gap for out of pocket money for prescriptions has
almost been closed. Physicals are 100% paid for as they are one of the
most important ways to catch something early that can be treated less
aggressively if CAUGHT early. And there are many more but I suggest you
google it and look what all has gone into effect. The BIG OOPS was her
statement about Congress not being on the same plan as that was fact
checked over 2 years ago! Pants on Fire honey…..I don’t have a problem
with people who have issues with the real bill! I do have problems when
they lie! “The bill passed by the Senate actually requires members of
Congress and their staffs to get coverage through the exchanges.” http://www.factcheck.org/2010/01/congress-exempt-from-health-bill/

    • CJDSBKJ

I don’t know where your “facts” came from , but you are WRONG on many instances…. and , NO, noone in Congress is on this program. PERIOD ! They still have their cushy government plan…. that is paid for by US and they don’t have the same CRAP we will be stuck with. Everything that was so ” wonderfully ” added in Obamacare has already made insurance premiums skyrocket !Ours was DOUBLED and the costs for in-hospital care went up 100 fold !! Obviously, you must have left the light on in the brain, but nobody is “home” !!!!

    • http://www.facebook.com/joseph.degnan.7 Joseph Degnan

Yeah that may be so, look at how much health care coverage has gone up since this bill has started to take action..

      • Paula

Have you noticed that anytime the government is involved in anything, the costs always go UP?

    • http://twitter.com/mwbyrd Mike

Regarding this: Insurers must spend 80 to 85%
of their premiums on actual healthcare and refund the difference to the
corporate or individual who hold the policy instead of the denials the
healthcare industry was giving out while lining their CEO’s pocket.

Why did my insurance company (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) send me a letter that I wasn’t getting a refund because they HAD to spend 80 to 85% of their premiums on Health Care. So insurance companies will continue to raise rates so to cover their loss of profit because now they HAVE to re-invest their profits.

    • big jack

By the mere fact that the previously uninsured , the bogus 30 million, the children who can stay on their parents plan until they are 26, the people who can not be turned down for preexisting conditions ought to tell even you that this monster is going to cost a whole lot more money than they are telling you. Your evidently naive enough to believe their lies. You should take your pal Bill Clintons retort, the arithmetic doesn’t add up. And that’s not mentioning all the other garbage that’s in the bill. I suppose it doesn’t bother you one iota that not one member of congress read the bill before it was passed. We had to pass it before we could find out what’s in it. Please tell me your a professional making lots of money and your a great humanitarian. I would hate to find out that your on the government dole, and you don’t care how they fund this monstrosity. Before this mess has been fully implemented the CBO has already revised the cost, and let me break the news to you , it ain’t downward. Your facts are wrong and probably your motive. When things start going wrong with this piece of —-, you will probably be the first to bellyache. Everything she said was factual, but somehow you don’t like the facts. they get in the way.

    • Ttiben

The whole obamacare law was front loaded with these goodies that sound great intentionally. The whole thing was designed to make employers drop coverage so they could later make the argument for gov. To take over all health care. One of the writers of the whole thing w the Apollo alliance said it was indeed a “Trojan Horse” for gov health care. You are being conned and as most who are conned never want to admit to being taken for a fool.

I THINK ITS A GOOD THING, ESPECIALLY PREEXISTING CONDITIONS NO LONGER TURNED DOWN SEEING AS I HAD A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT WHEN I WAS 14 THEN LOST IT 6 YEARS LATER BECAUSE AFTER I TURNED 18 MY PARENTS INSURANCE DROPPED, AND SINCE THIS IS A PRE EXISTING CONDITION..RE: END STAGE RENAL DISEASE, NO INSURANCE WOULD COVER MY ANTI REJECTION MEDICATION, THEREFORE I LOST A PERFECTLY GOOD TRANSPLANTED KIDNEY IN 98 AND HAVE BEEN ON DIALYSIS SINCE. KIDNEYME, car insurance, really? You are not forced to own or drive a car. A driver’s license is a privilege

not a right. Hense, you can be required to buy car insurance to exercise the privilege.
Under Obamacare, you are forced to buy health insurance just for breathing. See the difference?

        A) because there is no “problem” with voter fraud, & B) it is a poll tax on the poor, most notably, elderly.

Someone should ask Michelle about that, but no reporter on this EARTH has the guts to do it, because to them she is a SAINT!

        • MrSpork

Many, many states give FREE ID to those persons over 60, so what OTHER excuse will the elderly use NEXT? Btw, I am 62, and I managed to get the proper ID and it took less than 1/2 hour! So, to you who cannot take the time, or don’t have the money–just DO it, and stop WHINING like little babies! How do you get through life? You are SMARTER than the liberals who are upset that polling places require proper ID in order to vote, because the libs are nothing but a bunch of perverted JACK@SSES, and led by Barack Obama!

          • The Big Easy

@-mrspork——-As far as I know, every state GIVES a STATE ISSUED I.D.,for those that, perhaps don’t drive—like the visually or audibly,or mentally impaired might need to conduct every day business.

          • MrSpork

You misread my comment: I stated that “Many, many states give FREE ID…NEXT” I don’t know if ALL of them give FREE ID to those over 60, so that’s why I wrote that MANY do.

          • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

These IDs cost a fair chunk of money in some states, like Texas, where one may have to drive 200 miles to get one — not free, obviously, and therefore a violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Besides, in Texas, you have to prove who you are to get registered to vote. The additional ID, using forms that go beyond establishing legal identity, are intended to push older Americans, disabled veterans, Mexican Americans and African Americans away from the polls so they won’t vote. Why should we allow such Klan-like actions in the 21st century. Why are you so afraid of people voting?

        • lara

The elderly have ID!!!!!! The poor have to have it to get their food stamps..LIAR!!!!! voter fraud is real and its you libs who want it..WHY??? CAUSE YOU CANT WIN ANY OTHER WAY>>>>..

The plaintiffs in the actual lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin, included elderly people who don’t drive, veterans disallowed from using their Veterans Affairs IDs, and a variety of other people who can’t get ‘em. In Pennsylvania, the advocates of voter ID admitted that nearly a million voters would be disenfranchised.

Because the GOP can’t win without this form of cheating? You think?

            Yeah, you’re believable.

      • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

The voter ID laws won’t accept as proof what the DMV will. Many people — millions — don’t have a drivers’ license, and they should not be deprived of their right to vote just because they don’t drive. Especially the World War II veterans who no longer drive. It’s unfair to vets.

        • http://www.facebook.com/1Veta Veronica Meyers Bradshaw

Any DMV will grant a government ID in place of a driver’s license for those who do not drive. The process is almost the same, except one does not need to take the driver’s test, obviously.

          • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

Except: In 81 counties in Texas, there is no DMV office. In some cases it’s 176 miles, one way, to get the I.D. That’s a poll tax under the legal definition, and consequently should be banned by the 24th Amendment. In Ohio, the veterans didn’t get the word. A World War II vet, a veteran of Pearl Harbor, was turned away at the polls earlier this year. He had planned to vote for Romney in the primary. In Pennsylvania, the PA DMV decided they would take only Pennsylvania birth certificates (did you have to show a birth certificate to get a drivers license? Seriously?). New York isn’t part of the U.S. to them — even if you marched for the right to vote with Martin Luther King, Jr., as the lead plaintiff did. In Wisconsin, the DMV decided that they thought, maybe, a woman’s father had misspelled the family surname, 80 years earlier. So they rejected her birth certificate. To get a new one, she’d have to sue the state to correct her original birth certificate, at a cost of thousands of dollars. Two of her children are elected officials in Wisconsin. In Texas, a gun permit is okay — but if you’re a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, your University of Texas-issued ID isn’t good enough.

The claim that it’s simple and easy to get an ID would nullify the use of a voter ID law, were it true. GOP is insisting on these new ID cards because they know that it’s a burden on voters who don’t qualify — who by design are overwhelmingly black or brown, older, veterans, and other groups who, the GOP says, vote for Democrats.

If it were not illegal, it would still be immoral, the sort of stuff that God burned Sodom and Gomorrah for. Let’s not risk it again, eh?

          • Navee

Ed your r right it is a burden on people who dont qualify to vote, illegal immigrants n dead people. In Pa, where I live its not that hard to get ur id ,u can even vote but it would be held ubtil your proper id comes thru.To file for benefits here u need to prove u r LEGAL so all the elderly, vets are covered. The black n brown as u call them drive, work, get other benefits that need proof. So ur statement does not hold water.esp. when voter fraud is running rampant everywhere.

          • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

What’s a burden on society is people who can’t write the language they choose to frustrate communication in.

As opposed to this guy, who put his life on the line to protect our rights to believe fool things:

Paul Carroll, an 86-year-old World War II veteran who has lived in the same Ohio town for four decades, was denied a chance to vote
in the state’s primary contests today after a poll worker denied his
form of identification, a recently-acquired photo ID from the Department
            of Veterans Affairs.

            http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2012/03/06/439324/86-year-old-ohio-veteran-cant-vote-after-government-issued-id-is-rejected-at-poll/

Dead people don’t vote. Their names get stuck on the voter rolls, same as the names of people who move to different locations — but they don’t vote. No one has been able to find a case of voter fraud involving dead voters for a long, long time. It’s certainly not significant.

Please let facts, and attempts at effective writing, inform your future discussions.

Maybe if that thundercunt Romney would pay his fair share of taxes, we would all pay less for the ACA. I think this old bat needs to crawl back into her realm of obscurity.

    • momo

how much in a percentage did you pay? did you receive a refund? if so then you are not paying your fair share either. P.s. Its the treasury secretary that didnt pay his taxes. Tim Geithner I believe. A democrat appointed by obama

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ADBI53ZVWYDCEXOLV2PRGO3ZP4 David

Maybe the douchebag JJ Clark should start worry about paying HIS OWN fair share of taxes since he is one of the 47% of Americans who don’t, BEFORE he starts worrying about someone else paying theirs.

    • meg903

      Meg
What an idiot you are. From the taxes Romney paid, he probably helped to pay your share, he paid what was required. Why don’t you ask Obama if he paid his share? You can sure tell how smart some of you liberals are, by the comments you make. All you can do is spout off on Romney. He is what this coumtry needs to get
us back on track to the Constitution and our Freedom.

    • the Big Easy

@-the jerk————-COMRADE————Why don’t you get pukes like your zero kerry to pay his ‘fair share’ he PARKS his 9,000 FOOT LUXURY floating city in another state so as NOT to pay the TAXES on it in his state. And what about the other puke ,good ole charlie rungle from the puke hole in n.y.,that has all those HIDDEN properties in all those other countries, and all those HIDDEN properties in n.y.? ? ?And what about your he/she,barnie slobbering the frank’s ‘partner, that was operating a brothel out of his house, where are those FAIR SHARE TAXES——————What a COMMIE puke————-

    • GOP Babe

@JJ Clark: Romney does and always has paid his fair share of taxes. He’s just the smarter investor and chooses to take advantage of the US Tax Code that allows a smaller tax percentage on those who choose to invest their money in a certain, predetermined way. Sure, his percentage on municipal bond earnings and foreign trust earnings is lower than the percentage you pay on your McDonald’s income, but that was HIS choice, and YOUR choice. Calling him names, albeit creative, will not make your tax burden any lighter.

Congress is not exempt from Obamacare. What else is she lying about? http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/2012/04/17/obamacare-making-stuff-up-to-complain-about/

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ADBI53ZVWYDCEXOLV2PRGO3ZP4 David

But they don’t PARTICIPATE in it either. They still have their private insurance coverage.

      • http://timpanogos.wordpress.com/ Ed Darrell

That blog quotes the law and links to the law, and links to commentary on the law. Congress participates in Obamacare — and so do all federal elected and appointed officials — the same way everyone else who get health care insurance through their employer does. Same requirements. By law, now, Congressmen and the President cannot get a better deal than you can. Democrats insisted on that. When I staffed Congress, our private insurance options were Blue Cross, GW HMO, Postal Carriers, and a couple of other plans — exactly the same as other workers in private industry or government groups. No special breaks for Congressmen.

Stock market hits a four-year high. Obama must be the crappiest socialist in history, or maybe that whole claim is false.

If this woman want’s credibility she needs to not stand behind a Romney banner. He created the blue-print for Obamcare. During the primaries he stated that he wantd to repeal it. Then he said he wants to replace it. And now lately he has stated that there are parts of it he wants to keep.

    • Dogstar2

      Pretty much another R idiot!

  • Alan Wakefield

Far more important than Obama not knowing his birthday is his OWN admission he is a Muslim during an interview by George Stephanopoulis in which he thanked John McCain “for not raising the issue of my Muslim faith” during the 2008 campaign to which Stephanopoulis corrected him by saying, “Your Christian Faith.” Obama responded with “Yes, my Christian faith.” Under the rules of Islam a Muslim is under NO obligation to tell the Truth to non-Muslims. People of the Book indeed. My Book Commands Christians to NEVER to bear false witness, NO EXCEPTIONS! Obama a Christian? Are you kidding me? Of course you are!!

  • jmny

I think socialism is pretty great actually. I mean, if the rest of the civilized world can figure out a way to provide universal healthcare, why can’t we? You may be against it when you’re healthy, but wait until you have a chronic disease. If you can’t change jobs because you’re too dependent on your healthcare benefits, is that really freedom?

PONZIBAMUS DESTRUERUS* *The Obama Un-Affordable Health Tax Must be Destroyed. The Roman Senator, Cato, when addressing the Senate, would always either begin or end his address with the words “Carthage Must be Destroyed” [Carthago delenda est]. Ponzibamus, or course, is a made-up Latin word, but it says a lot in just four syllables. Destruerus means to be destroyed/removed completely, not amended or partially dismantled. Let us use these two words across the land. Let us see these two words on marching signs and bumper stickers in every state. Let us hear these two words in every legislative body in America. I passed out 350 of these 8 1/2 x 11 sheets at the GOP convention in Tampa.

Sorry, that’s moronic. Most of what she says is either irrelevant (e.g., the weight of the Surgeon General) or WRONG (e.g., that we’ll be “taxed” for this for 4 years before we see a single benefit… sorry, honey, most of the benefits started last year: your kids can’t be denied coverage due to a preexisting condition, your insurer has to spend 80% or more of your premiums on medical care (and reimburse you if they don’t), you can keep your kids on your policy until they’re 26, your preventative gynecological cre is now free (no co-pay), and so on).

    • Dogstar2

      Yep! again!

  • Schono

Amusing, but not objectively convincing at all

  • Cranky Citizen

Very funny. Ok, then, the Affordable Care Act is here. It’s reality. The present plan up until now has sucked for decades. No one would vote for the previous way of doing things if it were instead the plan. It’s about time someone had the political courage to do something about health care. Such whining I’ve never heard in my life.

  • Ellarsee

My husband’s practice has just started using the new required Electronic Medical Records system mandated by Ocare. So far he can only see half as many patients and spends twice as much time on electronic paper work. How anyone thinks they are going to have better access to care better think again. The WILL have longer waits for appointments and longer waits in the office while this rediculous and intrusive system is implemented. There is less time to actually talk to patients and practice the healing art because the doctors must comply with these onerous (and expensive, I might add) regulations. On top of it all physicians who deal with chronically ill patients risk their reimbursements going down or going away all together because some beauraucratic panel doesn’t see their deemed appropriate improvement in the patients condition. Not all patients get better. Some just need to be managed and cared for. I think Ocare beauraucrats may decide these patients are not worth treating since the prospect of the recovering is slim. We are in for a world of trouble. I actually read the healthcare bill before it was passed and Nancy Pelosi was right when she said “you have to pass it to know what is in it” There were SOOO many sections that were essentially place holders for regulation still to be written but which will become law without any review by the law makers. Shameful!

    • Apolloone

Thumbs up for a true and well stated post, I see a Communust gave you a thumbs down. It’s a shame these fools have destroyed this once great country, when Marxism is fully implemented we’ll see how good they take care of these totally brain-dead idiots.

  • Tired of the anger and hatred

I have a pre-existing condition and am so thankful for the affordable health care that was signed by our president. I have numerous grandchildren that can stay on their parents insurance now. I worked hard all my life and am now retired. No matter what the president does there will always be the haters. He could say the sky is blue and they will argue it is green. Sometimes I can’t believe the craziness that is going on in the GOP and tea party. What planet are these people from? I know some of the people that don’t like it but a lot of them are on free insurance. They seem to be the biggest complainers against health care for some reason.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_EGQX6F6PZIBTOQC7MW24DLFK34 justme

Just wondering did you have insurance before the “pre-existing” condition or did you go out looking to buy insurance after you were diagnosed with a condition? If you always had insurance coverage then there should be no issue with a pre-existing condition and I applaud any changes that protect consurmers; however, if you never had insurance and then were diagnosed and decided to get insurance there is a problem. That is like owning a car and not having insurance then getting into a car accident and then you want car insurance so they will pay the bill. I am tired of the idiots who think they are entitled to something they don’t deserve or have not earned!
Yep that crazy tea party actually wants people to accept responsibility for their actions, they want less government, they want less taxes, they want positive health care reform, they want medicare and social security reform to stop the abuses from illegals and those that never paid into the sytems. Yep those crazy tea partiers they actually think the government works for them not that we work for the government.

Oh and one other thing. That big 2500.00 saving that families were supposed to get when obamacare went into effect is now a 3000.00 increase in costs. I hope that makes you very happy……

  • GlaxoSmith Kline

Looks like she just came from the OR since she didn’t have time to take the lab coat off. This sentence is clinically proven to numb your mind!

  • Beau

yeah because the fact that he smoked pot and the fact that the surgeon general is obese that means they arent credible. Yeah and talk about a bankrupt government when he walked into a bad situation with the economic situation. But no nothing can ever be a republican presidents fault lets all hate on the guy who is trying. But no Right wing people say Obama is the bad guy who should be impeached… he has to have done something illegal you morons. Realize this agreeing with everything fox news says isnt smart, listening to both sides and understanding that both sides can do good things.
