If your life sucks it could be due to the fact that in Dec. 2007 the unemployment rate was 5.0% and in July 2012 it was 8.3%. Those figures come straight from the US Dept. of Labor. Want some more depressing news? There are 58.5% more people on food stamps now than there were in 2007. Got that figure off the USDA web site. Recovery? Where? Better off now than four years ago? Where?

In the House of Representatives from 1931 to 2012 – 82 years – 64 of those years were held by Democrats!
78% of that period as opposed to 18 years by Republicans or 22%.

If people’s lives stink it’s the Republicans fault because they have made it cleat that the people who take government money and turn it around in order to get jobs and making investments that gets them off of welfare don’t exist. When obviosly they do.It’s not quite clear WHY my party is so scared of govenment money, they just are. There are tons of programs and loads of jobs around so nobody has to be poor unless they really want to be. Anyone picky enough not to take the opportunity to do better for themselves whether it’s from taxpayers giving them their start in life or themselves or from a federal job really isn’t that bad off.
