Trip Back to America Becomes a Trip Full of Obama Scandals
About the only true believer I saw was on Interstate 5. One of Andrew Breitbart’s favorite targets for ridicule: a silver pony-tailed, full, gray beard and round, Lennon-hippy spectacles driving some foreign car with an “I Heart Obamacare” bumper sticker. He couldn’t have been more ridiculous if he’d been driving a Prius. He wasn’t.
That is what a true believer looks like. The man looks the same as he did forty-five years ago when he was spitting on returning veterans and protesting LBJ despite his now gray hair and wrinkled sagging skin. The rest of us passed those kinds up decades ago; but while we were out earning money, raising our families and trying to make it from point A to point B without too much trouble or pain, people like the Silver Haired Bandit were descending on higher education and even government jobs.
They couldn’t win by shrieking like tea kettles letting off nuclear gas in the 60’s, nor could they win now by protesting, but by slowly infiltrating our institutions over the decades they have gotten some power. Now we are just realizing how far they have gotten. The former long-haired, hippy losers of the 60’s are the educators, and federal employees of the present.
Obama’s incompetence has opened the curtain to them and they are not pleased. They know a lot of us know and the whole boiled frog plan they had is unraveling.
It doesn’t matter how or why the Obama malaise is happening but it is. Despite one breathless poll claiming he has a 53 percent approval rating, people are paying attention to the scandals, the lack of character and the condescension of the Administration. The American public, despite the hard work of the left to drive our attention away from the man behind the curtain, sees what is happening and we want answers – no matter who gets implicated and where the road leads. This is what blow back is like, and what a karmic debt looming like a crashing tower resembles.
The Administration cannot dodge the payback for their corruption and incompetence forever. Now all we can do is watch, and make sure our congressmen and women do their jobs and get to the bottom of the scandals. The American people deserve more.
