CHILLING: Legal Memo from Obama DOJ Justifies Assassination of US Citizens

The most extremist power any political leader can assert is the power to target his own citizens for execution without any charges or due process, far from any battlefield. The Obama administration has not only asserted exactly that power in theory, but has exercised it in practice. In September 2011, it killed US citizen Anwar Awlaki in a drone strike in Yemen, along with US citizen Samir Khan, and then, in circumstances that are still unexplained, two weeks later killed Awlaki’s 16-year-old American son Abdulrahman with a separate drone strike in Yemen.

Since then, senior Obama officials including Attorney General Eric Holder and John Brennan, Obama’s top terrorism adviser and his current nominee to lead the CIA, have explicitly argued that the president is and should be vested with this power. Meanwhile, a Washington Post article from October reported that the administration is formally institutionalizing this president’s power to decide who dies under the Orwellian title “disposition matrix”.

When the New York Times back in April, 2010 first confirmed the existence of Obama’s hit list, it made clear just what an extremist power this is, noting: “It is extremely rare, if not unprecedented, for an American to be approved for targeted killing.” The NYT quoted a Bush intelligence official as saying “he did not know of any American who was approved for targeted killing under the former president”. When the existence of Obama’s hit list was first reported several months earlier by the Washington Post’s Dana Priest, she wrote that the “list includes three Americans”.

What has made these actions all the more radical is the absolute secrecy with which Obama has draped all of this. Not only is the entire process carried out solely within the Executive branch – with no checks or oversight of any kind – but there is zero transparency and zero accountability. The president’s underlings compile their proposed lists of who should be executed, and the president – at a charming weekly event dubbed by White House aides as “Terror Tuesday” – then chooses from “baseball cards” and decrees in total secrecy who should die. The power of accuser, prosecutor, judge, jury, and executioner are all consolidated in this one man, and those powers are exercised in the dark.

In fact, The Most Transparent Administration Ever™ has been so fixated on secrecy that they have refused even to disclose the legal memoranda prepared by Obama lawyers setting forth their legal rationale for why the president has this power. During the Bush years, when Bush refused to disclose the memoranda from his Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) that legally authorized torture, rendition, warrantless eavesdropping and the like, leading Democratic lawyers such as Dawn Johnsen (Obama’s first choice to lead the OLC) vehemently denounced this practice as a grave threat, warning that “the Bush Administration’s excessive reliance on ‘secret law’ threatens the effective functioning of American democracy” and “the withholding from Congress and the public of legal interpretations by the [OLC] upsets the system of checks and balances between the executive and legislative branches of government.”

But when it comes to Obama’s assassination power, this is exactly what his administration has done. It has repeatedly refused to disclose the principal legal memoranda prepared by Obama OLC lawyers that justified his kill list. It is, right now, vigorously resisting lawsuits from the New York Times and the ACLU to obtain that OLC memorandum. In sum, Obama not only claims he has the power to order US citizens killed with no transparency, but that even the documents explaining the legal rationale for this power are to be concealed. He’s maintaining secret law on the most extremist power he can assert.

Last night, NBC News’ Michael Isikoff released a 16-page “white paper” prepared by the Obama DOJ that purports to justify Obama’s power to target even Americans for assassination without due process (the memo is embedded in full below). This is not the primary OLC memo justifying Obama’s kill list – that is still concealed – but it appears to track the reasoning of that memo as anonymously described to the New York Times in October 2011.

This new memo is entitled: “Lawfulness of a Lethal Operation Directed Against a US Citizen Who is a Senior Operational Leader of Al-Qa’ida or An Associated Force”. It claims its conclusion is “reached with recognition of the extraordinary seriousness of a lethal operation by the United States against a US citizen”. Yet it is every bit as chilling as the Bush OLC torture memos in how its clinical, legalistic tone completely sanitizes the radical and dangerous power it purports to authorize.

Wow…who could deny their evil intentions for the American people now.

    • Dave

      Only liberals.

  • Richie

Its all going to come back at them and when it does you will see a lot of traitors running for there lear jets to head out of town

  • Andre Leonard

Nothing chilling here. Obie has shown since day one that he is power hungry, ego driven, contemptuous leader. That feeling was reinforced when after failing miserably in his first term. His legions of minions voted to give him another term.

    • Ann Francis

Ande Leonard, yes, he’s been clear about his intents and yet, NO ONE IS STOPPING HIM!!!!
I’m soooo tired of logging on every day to see, so and so is thinking of, getting ready to file, talking of, getting support for etc. YESTERDAY was far toooo late to act and still we talk!

      • horseridingplains

I soo agree with you–have been off the grid for awhile for just the same reason—–person after person on blogs releases their info- their feelings, yet still he sits in the WH and things worsen by the day.

      • Andre Leonard

Problem is, there are too many people who just don’t care. The foolish people who will sit by and allow this far outnumber those of us who care.

All throughout history there were legions who stood by and did nothing while all hell was breaking loose.

    • AirFrank

Kinda reminds me of Idi Amin Dada.

      • Andre Leonard

Obie is dangerous. He has done more to destroy the tenets of freedom and liberty than any other president.

Not only has he sold out the American people but the world community. The only thing Obie has is the gift of gab.

  • Name

what ever hppene to innocent until proven guilty, i guess the OLC doesnt count the constution as a law to follow, but then again who does? certianly not this POTUS

    • garysvent

We don’t try enemy combatants, we kill them. Our problems do not stem from too much killing of Muslim terrorists, but not enough.

      • Ann Francis

garysvent, right on, except in this time when we pick and choose who, where and when to rid ourselves of.

        • garysvent

If we depend on politicians to pick and chose, they will do it wrong every time. They worried about a religious war, because what the muslims did, they did in the name of their so-called religion.

We should have said that Muslims were teaching each other to hate western democracies with as much vigor as communists did, and that our response should be no less lethal to them. Nation building should have been verboten; the losers can do the rebuilding.

The only thing we don’t want to do is enter into a civil war in this country over our differing opinions on how to protect our nation, or for that matter, on any other topic. I cannot see myself pulling a trigger on one of our soldiers, or policeman. A blue helmet … well, that’s a different matter altogether.

      • Name

they are still us citizens! they have the unalienable right to have a trial, plus if they are terrorists, why cant they rekase the lis, they told the world that they would go after them, its not like a surprise op.

      • Name

while i do agree we cant kill enough of them, they have been raised to hate christans since they were kicked out of spain, but if we let them kill each other we will have a much smaller problem and less people to cause “climate change”

        • garysvent

“Snort, snort … hack, hack … cough cough”

Climate Change … Al Gore’s retirement account.

    • AirFrank

Maybe the members of the OLC need to be put on such a list to see how they like it?

  • ThomPaineJr12

I think the killing of traitorous enemy combatants like al-Alawki should be approved by a special court like the FISA court, but House Repubs have done nothing to pass a law enacting something like this. The feckless fools have taken 45+ votes to repeal/ defund Obamacare, but have done nothing on this issue.

    • ezekiel22

What al-Alawki preached is the same as what other extremist mullahs have said in other countries. Do we kill all of them just to keep the bar at the same level for all people? That could cause a war. Do we reserve that for only American citizens or supposed American citizens as his was in question like someone else’s. Where do we draw the line in this case on freedom of speech? There are those on these blogs that have advocated for the ouster of Obama one way or the other do they get offed as well?

      • ThomPaineJr12

According to U.S. intelligence, al-Awlaki was far worse than most mullahs. He was an official leader of al-Qaeda. He was devising terrorist attacks. Yemen tried him in absentia for plotting to kill foreigners and being a member of al-Qaeda.

        • ezekiel22

I am not defending al-Awlwaki even a little. What I am defending or at the very least all of us and those that do oppose us. If he was a citizen then where is the line of demarkation where the right to life is forfeit?
As a member of AQ he did qualify as an enemy. As a citizen he was subject to our laws to be condemned or protected by them. Pushing aside those facts for the sake of convenience in order to eliminate opposition should scare us all. That is why we have those protections to avoid and deter Star Chambers as it were. Right now I can tell you that the NSA and FBI spying falls right in line with the dissolution of our rights of privacy. A secret judge okays the warrants for surveillance on trumped up say so. Imagine taking that a couple of steps further and taking a persons’ life.
I have read your posts in the past so I am pretty sure you know what I am saying.

        • AirFrank

It’s irrelevant. He was an American citizen entitled to the full due process.

          • ThomPaineJr12

Did you say the same thing when Bush tried to deny rights to citizens?

    • garysvent

It is hardly feckless to try to rid the country of ObamaMamaCare. It might be in vain at present, given the make-up of the Senate, but at least it signaled to the the American people who want nothing to do with Communist Health Care that Republicans in the House don’t want anything to do with it either.

As far as the killing of enemy combatants, that’s the DOD, under Obama.

    • AirFrank

What part of the Constitution are you to ignorant to understand? The executive branch has no authority to authorize a killing without due process and the FISA court itself is unCOnstitutional.

  • 4lifeandfreedom

Are we surprised? Being hit from all sides, for certain, and those supporting the power takers will be the most surprised when they are in the final stage performance!

  • sam whittemore

How soon until conservative thought becomes a capital crime? dems are truly evil people.

    • KD

Yes, although I’d say Progressives instead of dems. That way I capture all those who are perpetuating the idea that the Federal Govt. should run every aspect of every life, and can do so far better than we can ourselves.
These evil people will stop at nothing to do so, and are happy to ignore or rewrite history to convince otherwise good people that it’s in their best interest.
What I want to know is, what will these same Proggies do when the power finally shifts back into the hands of the Conservatives and the obvious precedence they created now hangs over their heads?

      • garysvent

They will protest louder than we have, because they have the media to spread their manure for them.

And dolts will accede to their demands, as always.

        • KD

You’re right for sure. The media is probably the single biggest enemy of We the People and needs to be brought to heel somehow. Hard to do while protecting the First Amendment though… It may take something really big to open their eyes to the damage they’re doing…

          • garysvent

Reduced income from highly reduced readership/viewership doesn’t seem to be the answer. Maybe their corporate trainers/handlers/zookeepers need to be negatively impacted by the treasonous activities of their pets.

  • Bill1966

And now we have these drones flying in US airspace. I wonder how long it will be before we start seeing attacks on American soil.

    • KD

We’ve already had “shaky” drone wars via the Dept. of Agriculture and EPA. Mowing down citizens here in the US is not far away.
How can so many of our fine citizens be so asleep to so much evil?

  • horseridingplains

I think soon Conservative thought, Christian attitude will warrant strikes by him–he already considers them terrorists–just a small stef further.

  • CrustyOldGeezer

Is the real reason he won’t seal the borders because his moslem terrorist buddies are packing in tons of explosives to be used in homicide bombing in American towns and cities?

Is he planning multiple attacks through terrorist bombings and drone strikes?

A Country Founded by Geniuses but Run by Idiots!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or
to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a
check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not
to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that
was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from
owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty
F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but
not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make
you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is
    run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl who is confined to a
wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman
in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head
searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but
    is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions
of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his
teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class
in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more
government regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with
Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free
cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses
    but is run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to
provide incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment
checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was
diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest
big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a
wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government
forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself
makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the media panders to your openly socialist leader while the IRS targets groups with dissenting views— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government ‘cracks down’ on legal gun sales to law abiding citizens while secretly supplying illegal guns to Mexican drug cartels— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your local government (Chicago) outlawed gun ownership for ‘the safety of its citizens’ and now boasts the worst murder rate in the country — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

    What a country!

How about we give God a reason to continue blessing America?

This was borrowed from another blog, please spread it far and wide!

That was good post but one problem has occurred. NYC is not the largest city in America LA is the largest i searched it up.

  • Gaines Bruce

If you look back about 260 year ago, you will find that we fought a revolution over authorities that behaved in this manner and that is what formed the basis for the USA and our constitution. Looks like history is repeating itself for those that have forgotten the past.

    • Ann Francis

Gaines Bruce, And, for those who’ve remembered history?????

      • garysvent

        We are the new protestors.

        • Ann Francis

garusvent, where are we protesting and what does that do???

          • garysvent

well, for now we are protesting here. What it does is inform each of us that we are not alone. Other than that … it is in the hands of God.

          • Ann Francis

garysvent, God helps those who protest???

          • garysvent

Smart aleck. Do you want civil war?

          • Ann Francis

garysvent, I don’t WANT any war, blaming God for not getting anything done isn’t the answer.

          • garysvent

Who is blaming God? I said it (the fate of this nation) is, like everything else, in His hands. That in no way absolves me and mine from offering solutions, and if the solutions I offer are short of civil war, well … there’s my opinion.

Of course, if the blue helmets show up …. heh heh heh.

          • 820 REDHORSE

Hate to lay it down like this bro, but no one wants civil war but its coming, and coming quickly, and to be honest with you its the ONLY way to get America back on track. voting is a farce and fraud runs rampant, the elitist in Washington are not working for the people anymore, they’re working for the agenda, they must be brought down like the redcoats were.

          • garysvent

I hope you’re wrong, but it may be that the only way to avoid that fate is if God intervenes.

          • Ewade

Amen RedHorse. God gave us the ability to bear arms and protect ourselves and our other God-given rights. It is not in God’s hands, he put it in ours.

          • 820 REDHORSE

Well here’s my thoughts on that, I figure God is looking down on us now, and saying I have provided them lands with resources to build and thrive in, and yet they curse my name me and cast out of the schools, they have legalized the murder of children, they celebrate and flaut homosexuals, satan is now protesting me in the very land I have provided them and none have come to defend me! So I think the Almighty is giving us one more shot to defend him and the nation he provided us, and I believe we must bleed & fight to save it. Just my thoughts, I think God is tired of us sitting on our hands.

          • garysvent

Everything you say is true, except for the “we” part. Certain of those among us have done these despicable things, and worse probably, and though none of us is without sin, He would not have His Holy Death be meaningless, and so those who are faithful He will care for, regardless of the shenanigans of Leftist freaks who think recreational fornication, sodomy, and baby murder are in the Bill of Rights, and therefore sanctioned by God. Those of us who adhere to the Constitution, and seek for ways to defeat the evil of the Left through persuasion and also through exampled lifestyles, and who above all adhere to His Bible, I believe He will ultimately bless; the rest goes into the fire, and good riddance … they had their chance.

It is ultimately more important to be faithful than to be a fearsome soldier, as odd as that seems to our human reason. We are supposed to trust Him, above all … not the feeble efforts of our own hands. Our job is to stay faithful within our own lives, for we are not judged together, but separately.

I pray that He will bless the efforts of those who fight for liberty, as He has in the past, even if they (and we) must fight in our own land. But I do not see yet that we should arm ourselves against our own government. Christian doctrine says that government is there to punish evildoers, and even Martin Luther said he would rather be ruled by a competent secular fellow than an incompetent Christian.

These are hard questions. And we are not the first to ask them. Even the Founders were circumspect in their dealings with England.

          • 820 REDHORSE

Very well stated sir, you certainly have given me something to ponder.

    • mountaine

It seems that the generation that’s coming up now doesn’t know our past !!
They’re not learning our history any more. Everything has been handed to them !! Most of the ones who remember are too old to fight now. BUT that didn’t stop me from getting a CCW at 73 !! Belive me, they’ll have to take it out of my cold dead hands !

Was Awlaki going to drop a dime on Obama?

  • yennikcm

When do Americans change from protesting to being Freedom fighters?

  • kenhowes

I’m a conservative, and I don’t like the idea of the US government ordering the death of citizens without due process. But al-Awlaki was a special case, as was Khan. It is unfortunate that Awlaki’s son was there, too, but the son was in harm’s way because of Awlaki. Awlaki’s death has a historical analogy. In 1864, Leonidas Polk, the Episcopal Bishop of Louisiana, was about a mile behind the Confederate lines when US captain Hubert Dilger saw through a telescope that there was a tent on top of a mountain with a number of high-ranking Confederate officers. “Let me just tickle them,” said Dilger, and he fired one of his 20-lb. Parrott cannon at the tent. The shell struck Polk in the head, killing him instantly.

How could one justify shooting a churchman in the head without any trial? Very simple. Bishop Polk wasn’t just a churchman; he was a lieutenant general in the Confederate Army. At his command, US Army soldiers were being killed. He could not be arrested and tried. After all, he was behind Confederate lines and had some 20,000 men between him and the Union Army. So he was entitled to no trial, and Captain Dilger did not violate any right of Bishop Polk.

At Awlaki’s command, US soldiers had been killed and, had he lived, more would have been killed. He had placed himself outside the reach of the United States judicial system. That missile that killed him was the exact counterpart of Captain Dilger’s shell. And if Bishop Polk’s son (if he had one) had been standing next to him at that moment, he would have been as dead as Awlaki’s son is. Awlaki was entitled to the same process Bishop Polk got.

    • Evan White

So awlaki was killed for treason so here is what i have to say impeach obummer and then let the SEALs blow his brains out for penatly of terrorism

      • kenhowes

Again, there’s a separate factor. Awlaki, like Bishop Polk, was outside the reach of US law enforcement. If Obama were to be charged with treason, he would be entitled to an indictment process and then a trial by jury.

        • Paladin

and if found guilty the public is entitled to see him get the strictest penalty allowed. But a very strong argument can be made that NO is beyond U.S. justice as he controls the senate and the AG, and for such reason should be treated the same if found to be an enemy of the country by a jury in absentia…

          • Paladin

            I meant “BO” not NO.

    • Kay

The son was not collateral damage. He was killed two weeks later in a separate strike.

      • kenhowes

Was that when Khan was killed? Or are you saying that there was a separate strike just to get the boy?

      • GK

        So what?

    • GK

Thanks, you put it very well. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for people to understand. There are plenty of good reasons to not like Obama, but this isn’t one of them.

      • Guest

That entire notion is as un-American as anything I’ve ever seen on here. We have a system of justice here, sir. We don’t execute suspects without a trial.

        • GK

That’s fine, but doesn’t always work too well when it’s a
matter of an upcoming deadly attack. Curious: Are there ever any circumstances
where you might not be willing to wait for a trial? What if someone was
breaking down your front door and you don’t know why? Are you going to wait?
More extreme: Should we have waited for a trial for Bin Laden? How about Adolf
          Hitler?

          • ezekiel22

If someone is breaking down your door in most states you are allowed to fire when they enter the abode forcefully. In some jurisdictions you have to be sure their head is within the doorway.
Outside of the the possibility that Bin Laden may have already been deceased the answer is yes if he was captured alive. As a matter of fact from all of the accounts I have read he could have been captured instead of summarily executed. However I was not on the ground and may not have all of the facts and the situation. As far as Hitler yes again. No matter the justice of just killing a murderer like these two. justice and Legality must be openly compared to the evil we fight. If we are willing to fight and die for a cause then we must by all means have those reasons re-enforced.

          • GK

Well then, we disagree. An example would be, that if you choose to wait until you are able to nab someone like Bin Laden or Hitler without the fear of killing them (don’t want to violate their rights), until that moment you have been waiting for comes, they will continue to kill and maim infidels and
Jews in large numbers. Something you don’t like about infidels and Jews? To protect the rights of people like Bin Laden and Hitler, civilized people should just wait? You’re funny. In the real
            world you won’t last.

          • ezekiel22

I would not wait until the thought of killing them would not be possible. Any enforcement person could tell you that would be impossible. If they could be taken alive then yes do so.
I have been around for a bit and so I guess in the real world I do last a while. As far as the little slurs take them where you got them from.
Killing people is easy in one sense; setting a standard is much more difficult and much more effective.

          • GK

OK. Sorry if I offended you – maybe I did push it a little
too far. I never figured I’d change your mind anyway. As for me (and for many
others commenting on this issue), I don’t like much about Obama. But in this case,
he has my full support. Should I need reasons to complain about him, this isn’t
one of them, there are plenty of others available. If I believe we have
adequate information to tag someone as a terrorist (or connections with), then
I know their goal is to either kill civilians over here, or our soldiers over
there. That’s all I need to know, to not wait.

    • Ewade

You’ve got your facts wrong. They went after his son later. This is what terrorists do. That entire notion is as un-American as anything I’ve ever seen on here. We have a system of justice here, sir. We don’t execute suspects without a trial. “At Awlaki’s command, US soldiers had been killed. ” Says who? Someone? If we had used your logic, after the Revolutionary war, we should have assassinated the Royal family.

    • interestedobserver2

I think you can rationalize any situation you want if you work at it hard enough, but I would like to remind you that General Polk died in the heat of battle (as did many other soldiers, both Confederate and Union, that day), and not, as Awlaki’s son did, two weeks later in a separate drone strike that plainly was directed against him.

Here’s the real bottom line — when you agree that it’s okay for the President to assassinate an American citizen without public due process, you are in abject violation of the Constitution, which specifically states that no American can be “denied life, liberty or property without due process of law.” By agreeing that it’s okay in one case, you have effectively agreed that it’s okay in any case. I will never agree to that.

If Awlaki was guilty of crimes against America, then he should have been put on trial — even in absentia (after all, he has the right to face his accusers; all he would have to do is show up at the trial). Once convicted, and assuming death was the penalty agreed upon by a jury, then by all means execute him. Failing that however, this was nothing more than a murder carried out extra-legally and without any attempt to provide due process. Heck, even taking away his citizenship would have required some form of due process and could have satisfied the requirement, but they didn’t even bother to go for that low-hanging fruit, did they?

I like torture …when it’s being done to the dynamite underpants crowd to defend americans from them.

But giving Obama (or any leftist freak like him) that power, or any similar power, like legalized murder … (what is this, 155th trimester abortions?) … is like handing an atomic hand grenade to a moron who is fascinated with “things-that-go-boom”.

Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice, especially if it’s my liberty you’re defending. But any extremism by believers in marxist tyranny is by definition virtueless.

  • sovereigntyofone

Well, here we are folks, right back to square one before Eric Holder produced his memo that U.S. citizen in the United States can not be kill on presidential orders (by Predator Drones).
Nothing has changed, it still boils down to if this president Obama deems you a threat to national security (actually his security) you can be killed on his word alone (with the help of Eric Holder) without ” due process of the law “. Due process of the law is whatever Obama/Holder says it is. Of course is says that you must be a terrorist to be deemed a national security threat. Well, guess what people, most of us have already been ” deemed a terrorist ” by DHS and Janet Napolitano Sec. of Homeland Security in a memo sent to ALL law enforcement agencies outlining who is to be considered a ” possible home grown terrorist “. In a nutshell, if you believe in God, Guns, and the Constitution, or have a political bumper sticker on your car the government doesn’t agree with, OR if you are a veteran of the military old or new, you are to be considered a ” possible home grown terrorist “. So, as you can see that just about covers all of us except the liberal democommies. Lindsey Graham has already stated that the United States is also a battle field against terrorism so that pretty much covers it all doesn’t it?
Bottom line is: Ceasar – Barack Hussein Obama has power of life and death over all of us.
    Just my 2 cents worth.

    • Ewade

There has, to date, been no act of terrorism on American soil that wasn’t planned, financed, and executed by the United States government. I believe this 100%. Who will be first to call me a whacko bird.? But if you do, name one, and prove it.

    • ThomPaineJr12

Your two cents are covered with feces.

kenhowes, interesting bit of history about THE WAR OF NORTHERN AGGRESSION. however, that was American’s fighting American’s about the 10th Amendment, the Morrill Tariff 1860 (look it up), and a couple more reasons down the line was slavery. What we’re talking about here is America killing RAG-HEADS. they renounce their citizenship by training to kill Americans. on one hand I do not have a problem with it, but on the other hand I have a big problem. Kind of a kanundrum. But, what do you expect when your problem comes from a Mulatto, Marxist, Muslim.

    • Busdriver Bill

It is a very short logical step from “renouncing ragheads” to critical bloggers. When we authorize any activity not within the Constitutional limits, we actuate a sequence of changes which inevitably lead to totalitarianism. Just look at where the firearms act of the thirties has taken us. We’re about to lose it all. I’m remindedd af what Churchill said about compromise – one can appease just so far and then you reach the point of capitulation or death. WE are at that point – tomorrow.

“In a world where I would not be restricted from killing an American, I personally would go and kill him myself,” a current NSA analyst told BuzzFeed. “A lot of people share this sentiment.”

“I would love to put a bullet in his head,” one Pentagon official, a former special forces officer, said bluntly. “I do not take pleasure in taking another human beings life, having to do it in uniform, but he is single-handedly the greatest traitor in American history.”…

The National Security Agency’s headquarters in Ft. Meade, Md., will go dark if a cohort of Maryland lawmakers has its way.

Eight Republicans in the 141-member Maryland House of Delegates introduced legislation Thursday that would deny the electronic spy agency “material support, participation or assistance in any form” from the state, its political subdivisions or companies with state contracts.

The bill would deprive NSA facilities water and electricity carried over public utilities, ban the use of NSA-derived evidence in state courts and prevent state universities from partnering with the NSA on research.

that’s ok, he probably wants to use OdumbassCare as a way to kill all the vets prematurely….deny all health benefits….defund the VA….give the money to his rapper friends and bomber friends who knows….

        • m2

Yeah I remember when his expectation was that:

          1. a young guy would come home from the battlefield with arms and legs missing or whatever other major injuries;

          2. to show appreciation for his extreme sacrifice, we are expecting HIM to pick up his own bills;

          3. many of these guys are still quite young and need more work experience so they can save hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for things like a year of rehab, brain surgeries, limb reconstruction, etc.

          4. yet OBASTARD proposed, like a good heartless ‘liberal’, that these fine young folks would pull money out of thin air, and have the money/time/project management resources/contacts/fundraising ability/whatever to do this. Even though some of them may be in a full COMA the whole time. Maybe OBASTARD thinks they all grew up with rich relatives who bankrolled everything like he did. But we didn’t all grow up that way, and even if we did, the very idea that this man would propose such a preposterous slap in the face to the military, really speaks VOLUMES about his total disdain and contempt for America’s heroes from the battlefield.

          5. And I used to think that the way we treated VIETNAM vets was hard! But this takes the cake!

          • elmcqueen3

This and many of the “draconian” measures taken after 9/11 seek to impose certain unilateral powers on the White House , powers that will be used, at first overseas, but then be used as”precedence” to label any American the govt pleases as a “terrorist”, even within our country ! Americans are forced to concentrate on the possible consequences of killing a “supposed American citizen”, when we should instead be criticizing the ‘errant policies” that allowed these KILLERS into the country in the first place !

No. Because he is actually in a different category. He qualifies as a cold blooded reptile: COLDBLOODUS SCUMBAGGUS. Although his sub-genus is actually a separate category. It has blue blood, it runs colder than typical snakes, and gives rise to other demonic abilities (constant extreme lying despite widespread video evidence to the contrary, having to cover crosses at universities, wanting to force abortions via legislation, and occasional head turning backwards. Also tends to brag to world leaders that he will have more time for deception if re elected, or that being prez gives him the ability to do whatever he wants.). This is also an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS reptile and will cause EXTREME DAMAGE as its words are POISONOUS and so should NEVER be elected to any office, anywhere, under any circumstances, by any sane people.

    • ipsd48

I’m still having a problem with the idea that he was ‘killing americans’. People who throw their loyalty and alligence behind enemies of the US have VOLUNTARILY given up any rights to citizenship here.
US troops in Europe during WW2 ran into german americans fighting for germany. Not ONCE did they consider them american citizens.

  • Stan Parrish

This administration thinks it’s cool to sell guns to drug cartels. Remember Fast and Furious. They ignored pleas for help from Americans in Benghazi. It does not surprise me that they would kill Americans without due process of law.

    • m2

EXCELLENT points. It’s really that simple, isn’t it? They were super-a-ok-peachy-fine with the idea of not supporting those poor men who they basically gave over to the enemy in Benghazi. A civilian has zero rights now. No wonder so many of us are arming to the teeth. It’s highly intentional that we are being pushed towards total chaos, so they can turn around and implement martial law, and bring in further tyranny (agenda 21 – worldwide population reduction 90%)

      • ipsd48

It’s going to take alot more than being well armed. We need to get well organized.

        • m2

I have had that exact same thought. If you look at forums like this one, infowars, breitbart, etc. you find a lot of people who would agree on a lot of things, fighting amongst themselves, calling each other RINOs, saying everyone is an idiot but themselves, or quoting history’s most obscure facts in an attempt to dominate and be the “BIG DOG’. The infighting is more vicious sometimes than the fight that comes from the enemy which is more expected as well as more predictable.

Meanwhile, all of the anarchists/Marxists/communists/socialists/statists all just laugh as they continue to Divide And Conquer, as their saviors Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky told them to do.

It’s kind of hard to figure this guy (Obama) out. He first turns the “War on Terror” (Islam) into a “police action” and forces our troops to issue “Miranda Rights” ; but, then he targets enemy combatants and traitors with selective drone strikes versus sending in a CIA or DIA hit squad probably killing more than the targeted individual. It seems Obama has violated his own rules; had he left the “war” in place maybe it would be legal to execute a traitor on the battlefield or in the area of conflict. However, I would be much more comfortable if it were a real American President and not this phony red-diaper baby calling the shots. What would keep him from targeting individuals on American soil? Seems like the real traitor is in the White House Oval Orifice? Hypothetically this rule could work to our advantage once we get a real American back in office as then the new POTUS could declare Islam and Communism (democrat party) illegal and take them out on the spot? That way we could greatly reduce CO2 emissions and clean up intellectual cesspool too! Just Kidding.

But yet he is allowing people that have been associated with terrorist groups to immigrate into America ? This means most anybody can be targeted for killing by the president without any concerns what so ever. Come on people wake up. Call you representatives on the phone, write letters, send E-mails…..this guy must, MUST, be removed as soon as possible from office, NOW. No more waiting, no more political concerns, get him out NOW. Impeachment and trial and prison along with his friends in office. 5 of the first 6, totaling 8 of the 10 Amendments that make up the Bill of Rights, mostly God given, Natural rights affirmed in the Constitution are under attack by this executive.

The 3rd Amendment and the 7th will easily fall. Under the 3rd, all we need is Marshal law and under the 7th, we have little rights in redress against the tyrannical government. We, the citizens of the United States seem to have less standing than illegal aliens that have invaded our sovereignty and live outside of our Constitution and outside of our rule of law with representation without taxation.

We have succumbed to a perceived marxist majority and an islamocentric executive branch.

Can we recover? In November, we will have that answer. The resolute answer should be, “We Must!”

Get real. If these people were in Nazi Germany or in the midst of a bunch of Japanese troops during the second world war, they would be fair game, They make themselves fair game now by consorting with and living among enemy combatants. If you don’t want be be targeted in a drone strike, get the hell out of the combat, or contested zone. Being a traitor to your country in the middle of a war doesn’t entitle you to having your Miranda rights read and an attorney appointed. Zap, end of story, end of another traitor. Boo hoo.

And civilians in our own country?

      • E Wolfe

I see nothing in the finding addressing strikes on American soil. Absolutely nothing at all. Presently our military is proscribed from conducting operations in a law-enforcement capacity on U.S. soil.

Not true anymore. Obama has effectively revoked Posse Commitatus

        • Shofar threading

Sadly, guess you can’t read between the lines.

  • Timur

Obama is not God, he may think he is, but there is coming a day when he will stand before Almighty God and give answers.

    • Shofar threading

This man bows down to allah not God. Minus a miracle of repentance, he will spend eternity in the presence of his demonic god.

  • bull57

Let’s get right down and dirty. The US should revoke any/all US passport of people planning on traveling to countries that are considered combat zones unless approved by our government with the full understanding of the dangers. If then an American shows up dead it’s entirely their fault, end of story!!!

    • bmrtoyo

they have told everyone stay out of mehico , and you’re on you’re own if you go there , post a formal statement , and see ya

  • Rich

    Have we no snipers?

  • leewacker

This is the living end of the faux “president’s” decrees, and he should be removed immediately before anything else is done to hurt the American people! All of us have been far too patient with this poseur, and he has gone over the limit so many times, it is hard to keep track! It is time to replace the entire government–from the faux “president” on down to the lowliest floor cleaner!

    • Shofar threading

Sorry leewacker, not “far too patient”. Patience is a virtue. Stupidity and blindness is not. We are getting what the weak majority have foisted on us. Why oh why can’t people turn their faces to the God who has been spit upon by the liberals and acknowledge that we NEED Him?! That bespeaks of even more stupidity! <

  • TPM4

don’t think for a minute that he will not try to do this, the question are we like the jews marching to the gas chambers and the ovens or are we going to get of our as-es and do something about it our congress won’t
We are on our own against a hostile government

Congress won’t act because the NSA has been used to gather their crooked little secrets–secrets that would keep them from getting endlessly re-elected to their $200k/yr jobs. Re-election is job one, and so they’ll do nothing. Haven’t you ever wondered what secrets a man with a beauty shop suntan and plucked eyebrows keeps? Why he cried when he became Speaker of the House?

  • truthbeknown

Once this happens he then as he already has declares groups within this country as terrorists and goes on a killing spree. If you don’t agree with him and then join a group of any kind which doesn’t agree with him. well guess what your a terrorist and liable to be targeted. Wake up America the beast is upon you.

A Kenyan killing US citizens with stealth power….’nuff said?

  • marmo43

yeah, like the woman who produced his birth certificate. the others on that plane said she was fine and had help putting on a life jacket, then she mysteriously disappeared. And the old classmate who talked about the president lifestyle while in college? DEAD. And his statement, ‘ I know how to kill people real good’. all making sense, folks?

  • muslimmustgo

They cannot win their agenda, morally, ethically, honestly or legally so they will resort to whatever satanic means are necessary to keep them in royal power!! Who in their right mind would willingly agree to live under the most satanical political agenda since mankind! Communism was designed for those at the top to live without the oppression and tyranny they impose on the masses!

  • herdzcatz

How is this a good thing while waterboarding is an evil thing? The way I see it, after waterboarding, the perp is alive, and we have gleaned important info; after a drone attack, the perp is dead and our president is judge, jury and executioner–and god. This is not a wise power to give to this president who can change his mind at the drop of a hat and who thinks his own executive orders replaces Congress–and whose DOD is training military men and women that conservatives, Christians, and Catholics are domestic terrorists.

    • Beck

I agree — the purpose of waterboarding is to cause panic. There is no true danger. It’s a psychological method that’s cruel, sure, but if it saves lives by getting us valuable information, why not use it on a person highly suspected of being involved in terrorist cells? With due process, of course. It’s far better (in my opinion) than beating the information out of somebody, or invoking torture in the physical sense. But hey! Killing people is okay. Lives are meaningless in the face of the decrees of all-knowing secular Jesus: Barack Obama.
All liberal “logic” is screwy. It makes your head hurt to try to make sense out of it.

  • Linda Taylor

Where did this picture come from and who took it? I’m talking abouit the picture with the target. Where did it come from?

    • Beck

This is a picture from the BBC series Sherlock, a popular TV show. It is at the end of the second season , where John Watson’s life is being threatened in order to manipulate Sherlock Holmes.

      • Linda Taylor

        Thank you.

Those who can’t stomach the finest truth known to mankind in the Bible, pick up a copy of George Orwell’s book “1984″ and see if his Big Brother isn’t a precursor to Barack Obama. Satan, in his minions, is running rampant in the world.
