In my estimation–there is no more inflammatory doctrine than Islam. Its strident advocacy for the violent and relentless subjugation of Jews and Christians is beyond chilling.
From the graphic images of Christian schoolchildren in Nigeria burned beyond recognition by Muslims seeking to implement Sharia law to the beheaded bodies of Christian clerics in Sudan slaughtered by Muslim dogmatists shouting “death to the infidels”–Islam is the boil on mankind’s butt.
(Not to mention the scores of innocent Israelis that have been viciously eradicated by Islamic terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah.)
As if the above mentioned isn’t egregious enough–now comes a report from our friends at Front Page Magazine (FPM) of an attack on the Christian Armenian village of Kessab, Syria.
On the morning of March 21 (according to FPM) al-Qaeda linked operatives raided Kessab killing an estimated 80 unarmed civilians. The operatives deployed snipers and mortars against the “infidels” who had neither chance, nor opportunity to defend themselves.
Secondary sources purport the violence inflicted on the Christians of Kessab was horrific.
Sadly–this is endemic of a doctrine whose founder, the Prophet Mohammed–killed Christians for sport. (History tells us that during Mohammed’s 72 military campaigns he gleefully annihilated scores of Christians via the sword.)
But, one of the most disquieting aspects of this story (again reported by FPM) is the culpability of Turkey concerning the attack on Kessab.
Not only did the operatives enter Syria from Turkey–but they were aided by Turkish artillery fire from nearby military units. And when the attack was completed–the jihadists reentered Turkey.
Lest we forget–it was the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey) that killed some 2.5 million Armenian Christians during the 19th and 20th centuries. This was known as the “Armenian Genocide” and it was motivated by anti-Christian, Koranic doctrine.
All of this begs the question: Why is Turkey (which is moving ever closer to becoming an Islamist state under Erdogan) still a member of NATO?
Perhaps this question about Turkey can be addressed in a future article–but for now we must deal with the unavoidable and insidious fact that Islam is the boil on mankind’s butt.
And, unless it’s lanced–it will only continue to fester.
