BHO — Best Pres in History? Fallacy #4: Obamacare Brings Hope

In the United States, technology in the medical and pharmaceutical industries have always been the greatest in the world. Individuals would travel from all corners of the earth to receive procedures that could only be found in the states. With that said, due to ever increasing costs, healthcare reform has been an issue for the past two decades. Unfortunately for all, Obama has taken what used to be the greatest, turned it upside down and has jeopardized quality healthcare for generations to come.

Mr. Blogger does not understand how exceptional our Health Care system is and exactly how it works. This is Mr. Blogger’s fourth attempt in trying to make Obama something he is not: the greatest president in history.

4. He is for a healthcare system that brings hope and healing to the hurting. Obama’s healthcare plan has allowed uninsured Americans to reap the benefits of a universal healthcare system. A suffering child should never be turned away because his or her mother doesn’t have health insurance. To deny medical assistance to people who desperately need it is barbaric. Obama’s health care plan has placed America among the world’s greatest superpowers who demonstrate care and compassion toward its constituents with healthcare that serves all.

It has been estimated that approximately 50.2 million Americans are without health insurance. This number includes 18.3 million young healthy members of society that opt out of buying coverage as well as 11.5 illegal aliens that do not have coverage. These numbers are provided by the census bureau and are rarely mentioned when the government and the MSM want to exaggerate how many are without insurance.

If my math is correct, the actual number of uninsured in the U.S. is around 20.4 million. In comparison, there are already six-million hard working Americans that have been forced off their insurance policy that were told, “if they like it, they can keep it”, and, in time, projections are 50-100 million more will be forced off their plan. Mr. Blogger, this makes about as much sense as cutting your hand off because you have a splinter in your finger.

Whether you are in the United States illegally or you are a citizen, any hospital that accepts Medicare patients, which most do, cannot turn away a patient seeking care.
“Under a 1968 federal law, all patients seeking care in hospital emergency rooms must be given a minimum level of treatment, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status.” Billions of dollars of unreimbursed medical fees are absorbed by tax paying citizens each and every year. Low income families can apply for Medicaid so I do not want to hear a sob story about our health care system not helping those that are in need.

Granted, there used to be much better plans available on the market if you had an employer that offered health insurance or an individual worked and actually paid for a personal policy. Today, we are stuck with Obamacare that actually brings everyone down to a substandard health insurance contract with a failing economy and an incompetent government.

The Affordable Care Act is a symbolical representation of Obama and his entire administration. In order for certain Senators to vote for the ACA, back room bribery or possibly extortion was taking place with reference to “Cornhusker Kickback”, the “Louisiana Purchase”, and “Gator Aid”.

Obama has single handedly and illegally bypassed the Constitution by changing the ACA law 27 times in order to aide his corporate friends and move back damaging mandates. Barry took the action in 2012 to rob Medicare of $716 billion in order to finance Obamacare. And last but not least, Barry lied to the American people just like a “Ponzi scheme” artist does to his victim when he said, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it”. His statement was called the “lie of the year” but I think it would be better represented if it was call “The biggest lie in our Nation’s History”.

More individuals have lost their health insurance than ones that have signed up for ACA. More in the workforce have lost their job or have had hours reduced due to ACA. Those that work for a living will be seeing a dramatic increase in their taxes due to the ACA. Unfortunately, some will die or their health will become much worse due to lack of coverage or no coverage at all under the ACA. But then again, Harry Reid says, “Despite all that good news, there’s plenty of horror stories being told”, “All of them are untrue.”

Wipe the oatmeal off your chin Harry!
