AIN’T PRETTY: What the Left Really Thinks
In Leftist circles, three realities must be kept in mind by people of good will: one, the secular Left is driven by the universal Chip on the Shoulder which gives them permission to viciously attack all opposition; two, in their view, people most aligned with the Founders deserve political assassination; and three, secular Leftists (in the main communists with global ambitions) seized control of the Democrat Party long ago.
The Complainer in Chief in the White House would have us believe he is the champion of the poor and the dispossessed, the marginalized and the oppressed. Aside from the fact these groups are much worse off than when he snatched power, this Usurper continues his droning rhetoric, even in the wake of his monumental defeat Nov. 4.
It took a while but voters finally said “enough!” We are tired of listening to complaints, excuses, accusations and blame shift. We are fed up with the constant drum beat of denigration: the claims America is the problem, white people are the problem, Republicans are the problem, capitalism is the problem, corporations are the problem, Christians are the problem, the Tea Party is the problem, gun owners are the problem, and the police and military are the problem.
The Chip on the Shoulder has been the Left’s steroid for 100 years. It is always someone else’s fault. There is a demon behind every name plate. The enemy is here, or there, or everywhere, and the common man, the worker and the indigenous are all the victims of the enemy. So once you set up the conflict according to your narrow view of history and the world (dialectical materialism), and side with the “victims”, it is an easy task setting the grievance committee on fire to attack and demand and protest and assault. This strategy has been the stock and trade of Democrats since the days of Lyndon Johnson, escalating with increasing viciousness to this day.
Evidence abounds. Slurring and slobbering his way to ever greater heights of silliness, Chris Matthews recently likened Sen. Ted Cruz to Joseph McCarthy. Communists hated McCarthy because he blew their cover. People like Matthews hate Cruz because he blows the cover off the illusion that the modern Democrat is a patriot.
How can one proud of anti-Americanism be patriotic? The illogic of the left approaches lunacy. For Matthews, the affliction is in full bloom. One day he loves Obama, the next day he hates him, eventually falling back to assault anyone closely allied with the Founders, calling himself the only patriot at the table. At this point upping the dosage simply will not help. The addiction to demonization and rabble-rousing requires divine intervention.
Solid conservatives, like Tim Scott of South Carolina and Mia Love from Utah, make history being elected to Congress. They are immediately condemned by the NAACP and others, called Uncle Toms and worse. The high priests of tolerance and diversity seethe with hatred toward anyone honest enough to exemplify true tolerance and diversity. Allen West and Condi Rice and Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann can tell you all about it.
The true racists and sexists never debate people like West or Palin, for two reasons: they know they will lose, and they have no interest in honorable engagement. They look down their noses at anyone voicing legitimate dissent. They think themselves superior, the trademark of the racist and the sexist. Instead of honest discussion which might reveal their hypocrisy, they resort to political assassination, a more convenient weapon, one losing its usefulness, thanks to good people like Scott, Love, West, Rice, Palin and Bachmann.
In the end, it is not just a matter of “fundamental transformation”. That is only the stepping stone. The ultimate aim of the secular Left is one-world government, our only salvation, their gospel. Walter Cronkite, the Rockefellers and George Soros thereby agree with Obama and the Castro Brothers. Leftists see themselves as the possessors of secret knowledge, the only ones who know the real threat, the only ones with the will and the knowledge to save mankind. And they will save us, by golly, even if they have to kill us to do it.
