FEMINIST HYPOCRISY: Hillary Shills for Sharia But Ignores This DISGUSTING Practice
Hillary Clinton and the so-called feminists claim that their mission is to work for the good of womankind. However, I have not heard one word from Hillary Rodham Clinton or the feminist groups about FGM (Female Genital Mutilation), a cruel, inhuman, and degrading practice. It is concentrated in thirty countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, where over 200 million girls and women, alive today, have been victims of this disgusting procedure. It is most prevalent in Indonesia, Egypt, and Ethiopia. Somalia has the highest number of girls and women who have undergone this tortuous, barbaric, act with 98% of the girls and women affected.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), FGM is classified into four different types:
Type 1 often referred to as clitoridectomy, which is a partial or total removal of the clitoris.
Type 2 often referred to as excision, this is the partial or total removal of the clitoris and the inner and/or outer folds of the vulva which is the external female genitalia.
Type 3 is often referred to as infibulation which is the narrowing of the vaginal opening, which occurs by cutting and stitching of the labia.
Type 4 includes all other harmful procedures to the female genitalia for non-medical purposes, such as pricking, piercing, incising, scraping, and cauterizing the genital area.
Deinfibulation, refers to the practice of cutting open the sealed vaginal opening in a woman who has been infibulated. This is necessary for improving health, but mostly is done to allow intercourse or to facilitate child birth.
FGM has absolutely no health benefits but can be, and often is, extremely harmful. Complications that can occur include severe pain, hemorrhage, swelling of the genital tissues, fever, infection, urinary problems, shock, and death. Long term consequences can include urinary and vaginal infections, menstrual problems, sexual problems, increased risk of child birth complications, need for later surgery and psychological problems. This horrific practice is generally carried out on young girls between infancy and age fifteen and is definitely a violation of their rights. No religion prescribes this practice, but religious leaders do take different positions in regard to FGM.
Recently, a Facebook page promoting FGM was finally taken down. It was entitled “Islamic Female Circumcision” and it reeked of propaganda and lies. The misconceptions promoted in this article included:
Lie #1: It’s the Jews’ fault that people don’t understand the benefits of FGM. They do not know because the Jews control the media.
Lie #2: People are wrongly critical of FGM and aren’t critical enough of male circumcision which is a Jewish practice and female circumcision is not.
Lie #3: Female circumcision is good for women both health wise and sexually. This bunch claims that FGM prevents urinary tract infections and STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). They also claim that it prevents cancer.
All of the statements made by this group are absolutely false. According to WHO, FGM has no known health benefits and is harmful to girls and women in many ways. In addition, no scientific evidence exists to prove that any form of circumcision prevents any type of cancer. FGM has also contributed to the contraction of STDs and has not prevented it.
Another consideration is the fact that many of these “refugees” that Barack Obama is flooding this country with, subscribe to FGM. Look for it happening here, where it’s supposed to be against the law. This practice not only has horrible consequences for girls and women’s health, it is also a violation of their rights.
One would think that any individual or group, who claims to fight for women’s issues and rights would be working day and night to see the horror of FGM abolished. However, not a word or a whimper about this from Hillary Clinton or the feminists. So, let’s cut the crap, Hillary and Company, you and your gang are a bunch of hypocrites. You do not care about women’s issues or rights, only about votes.
FGM is an abomination and must be stopped. It is a form of torture, perpetrated upon women, designed by a combination of ignorance, adherence to a miserable ancient tradition, promulgated by men who treat their animals better than their wives and daughters.
