It’s a safe bet that if you’re the parent or guardian of a teenage girl, and you’re a ClashDaily reader and loyal fan of yours truly, you probably don’t let her read Teen Vogue.
Smart choice. It’s so smart that you will have morbidly dark chuckle at a video they posted courtesy of Planned Parenthood. Fifty points for Gryffindor if you can guess what’s missing:
On the small chance there’s a Democrat reading this, the answer is BABY. They’re removing a baby from the womb. Not a single mention of the precious life that’s actually being yanked out of a woman’s uterus, most of the time in pieces. If you’re a Leftist, you’d think they were performing an enema. Isn’t it odd that comments on this video at both the Teen Vogue site as well as YouTube are disabled? Why would they be afraid to get people talking? It’s a safe procedure, right?
The Left is nothing if not predictable. Pull their funding for any of their vaunted social programs – in this case, killing children – and they gang rape the language (e.g. “Planned Parenthood”) to get the unaware masses to cry foul.
Here’s the thing: In this current political debate, the only thing being “done away with” is American tax dollars paying for abortions. If you’re keen on killing innocent life in the womb, you will be able to do so with reckless abandon, in most states up to the point of your baby taking his or her first breath.
Repeat: With respect to the proposed Republican legislation to deal with Obamacare (affectionately called RINOCare – Repeal in Name Only), no one is saying abortion should be illegal.
As with everything Democrat, it always gets worse. Ad Week just picked Teen Vogue as part of its “Digital Hot List”. Yep, they’re actually getting an award (emphasis mine).
Proving that teenagers care about more than just denim styles, Teen Vogue has emerged as a strong voice for the modern young woman. Of particular note was its headline-making article Donald Trump is Gaslighting America. published last December, which revealed a political depth rarely seen in youth-focused media. Meanwhile, Teen Vogue continues to showcase diversity and inclusivity through topics and cover models. The self-described “rebellious, outspoken, empowering” magazine delivers more than 27 million monthly impressions through its print, website, and multiplatform outreach.
If you do happen to catch your daughters or sons’ girlfriends reading this waste of ink and silicone, do what you can to stop this evil from soiling America. Our souls are in bad shape already. I don’t know how much more they can take.
We Christians are required to pray for others (i.e. in the Rosary: “Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy.”) It’s Lent, so during this time we are required to up our advocacy game for the lost. But when you murder innocents or treat the murdering of innocents as if doing so is a medical procedure no more invasive than a colonoscopy, don’t expect us to always mean it.
