As the details of the deceased perp, Adam Lanza, emerge from the Dec. 14th shooting in Newtown, CT, and we collectively exhale … we need to approach this horror that occurred with sound minds and wisdom to move ahead.
This is clearly not the time for knee-jerk reactions. Bad laws are made without reason and based upon emotion.
What we experienced was pure evil … the result of a sin-tainted world rearing its grotesque facade. This was not the best that humanity has to offer, but the underbelly of the human soul. Could it have been stopped … a cruel thought to those suffering from unfathomable loss.
