One week after the UN violated its own principles it agreed to in the Quartet (Phase I stated the Palestinian Authority [PA] must cease all violence), and gave the PA another step forward to Statehood by granting them non-member observer status … the majority party of the PA government (the terror group Hamas) celebrated its 25th Anniversary in Gaza. (By the way, Hamas originally intended to hold its anniversary celebrations next week, but the date was pushed up to coincide with the anniversary of the First Intifada … is that LOVE in the air?).
But they were celebrating much more than an anniversary … the PA has accomplished another step toward, not a Two-State solution, but a ONE-State solution. The State of Palestine … with NO Israel.
Think it’s hyperbole? Think again…
— At the Hamas’ Anniversary rally, their peeps spoke volumes as to their intentions:
Spokesman for Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades (military wing of Hamas) said: “We vow to keep on with the resistance and with the Jihad until we defeat the occupation and purify the holy sites.”
— Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh told the cheering crowds that Gaza was victorious and that “Hamas’ … has thousands of combatants, on and under the ground, who are ready to ward off any Israeli aggression. The occupation will not remain on this land.”
— Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal stated: “The West Bank, Gaza Strip and Israeli Arabs are united in the path of resistance, Jihad and the Shahids (martyrs) … It will not be long before we see all the Palestinian prisoners released from prison. We promise you that. The way we freed some of the prisoners in the past is the way we will use to free the remaining prisoners … Palestine is ours from the river to the sea and from the south to the north. There will be no concession on an inch of the land.”
Not convinced they’re up to no good? … well then take a trip over to the UN here in NYC. The UN is now hosting (in the public entrance hall) a Palestinian exhibit which includes pieces that cunningly illustrate ALL of Israel l… as Palestine. The display goes agreeably with the logo displayed at the top of the cover page of the speech that PA leader Abbas’ delivered to the UN General Assembly on November 29th. That logo persists in the promotion of a One-State solution, Palestine sans Israel (The PA likes Jew-less like I like Sugarless).
By the way … the “Palestinian” people, who freely elected Hamas as the majority party … intend to continue to par-tay at the cost of many more innocent Israeli lives. According to Ynetnews.com, Shin Bet (Israel’s CIA) reports that the unrest in Gaza is ripe for the advancement of the kind of milieu that could possibly support a third intifada.
Let’s face it … the PA has turned Gaza into what we would call “the hood”. And … with the help of dangerous weenies like Obama and the UN … they are trying to make “the hood” a State.
We have enough gangstas in our culture … we don’t need any more wearing keffiyehs and donning bomb belts … or pushing our friends into the sea.
