MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Assaulted America By Tying Terrorist Attack to Tea Party

Written by Kevin Fobbs on April 25, 2013

After the attempted assassination of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Matthews blamed conservative talk show hosts Michael Savage and Mark Levin for the assaults in January 2011. Chris Matthews was making up evidence by using assumptions based on his own narrow minded ranting.

A few weeks later he attacked the Tea Party and compared them to the terrorist actions of the Muslim Brotherhood, by aligning them with those fanatics “who are, out for scalps,” and those “dancing while they shoot at their feet,” according to the Blaze. He made this claim in early February 2011.

The point of his continuous diatribes is that Matthews is in a war against the ideology that constitutional rights are guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. This runs counter with his own liberal socialist agenda which is to neuter those very rights, like the Second Amendment.

His media company gives him the legitimacy that he does not deserve and America should be protected from. His attack dogma has a negative destabilizing impact because it establishes an incorrect narrative about the Tea Party which is embraced, and causes the true terrorists to operate under radar, free and unnoticed.

Matthews’ brand of attack journalism is taken directly from the page and practice of Senator Joseph McCarthy who, in the early 1950’s, attacked innocent Americans by viciously labeling them as communists. In far too many cases, there was no evidence and his charges had been fabricated. McCarthy damaged countless lives and finally America and President Eisenhower had enough. He was sent packing.

America has had enough of Matthews and his alarmist attacks on innocent Tea Party Americans and conservatives who differ from him. It is not enough that viewers are leaving his shrinking audience. He is a liberal firebrand waiting to ignite a fire in an auditorium. When the fire ignites he will be first to scream fire and point in every direction but at the fire starter: himself.

Terrorism is a far too real danger and Americans do not need to have liberal media talking heads abandoning journalistic principles to find the truth that could aid in the capture of terrorists. When the truth seekers abandon the truth the consequence is crippling disservice and the harm is real.

So, Chris Matthews is more than just an over-rated nuisance; he is a danger, like former U.S. Senator Joe McCarthy; he must be shown the door. It is time for Matthews to retire to his nearest bar and bellow into his beer with all of his sycophant liberal media pals, completely out of America’s earshot.
