Others are Reagan Republicans, Palin Republicans and Romney Republicans, but as for me and my house, we are hereby Christie Republicans. That’s right, all you Obama haters that have pegged Governor Chris Christie as a RINO. I am in his corner and if Christie is a RINO, then call me a RINO as well.

If being intellectually honest and putting politics aside for the benefit of those that are hurting makes you a RINO, then I am a RINO. I want nothing to do with a Republican party that’s sole purpose is to hate the other guy, even on the rare occasion that he is right.

Why am I up in arms? For months now I have watched as people in our party have blasted Christie for embracing Obama after super storm Sandy and now they are apoplectic because he admitted today that Obama kept the promises he made to the Governor about relief help. Really? Imagine if the roles were reversed and a Republican President was shunned by a Democratic Governor during a crisis. Christie critics would be the first to blast that governor for playing politics while people were suffering.

They claim that Christie cost Romney the election. Christie didn’t cost Romney the election…Romney cost Romney the election. The super storm that hit the Republican party in November was a mixture of the establishment bland Romney and the crazy righties coming together in the national spotlight that decimated any opportunity that the Republicans might actually get another chance to govern and blow it, just like they did from 2000-2006.
