Gang of Eight? More Like Gang of Snakes

Some of the most brutal and violent criminal enterprises reside right across our largely unprotected border. When Marco Rubio’s amnesty passes those criminals will be in line as well, ready and willing to bring the drug war to our streets.

Marco Rubio has wagered his entire political career on a bill that spells disaster for our country. I once looked at Sen. Rubio as an inspiration; now all I can say is he is very misguided and hopefully he will have voted himself out in the next election.

There is however a silver lining here. There is one man who has been courageous enough to look his fellow Republicans in the eye and say, you are wrong. That man is Ted Cruz and I am crossing my fingers that he will run in the primaries. Because, if he doesn’t, we will be stuck with Republicans who don’t care about representing us but rather representing the interests of people who don’t even belong here.

While I must say that, I don’t believe that Hispanics are bad people by any stretch of the imagination. As a matter of fact, it is quite baffling to me why more of them aren’t conservatives. Many Hispanics are deeply religious and family oriented people. However, there is within their numbers a large group of evil and violent people. It is in that spirit that I will steal a line from President Obama and say, “If it will save just one American life to not approve this amnesty, how can we afford to go forward.”

In closing I want to say that there is such a thing as an illegal person; actually we fought a war over illegal people. They are also known as an invasion force; this war was in 1846. Mexico though it own Texas back then, too. Hopefully we will find another Zachary Taylor to rise to the occasion.
