Slap-Your-Head Current Events: Bureaucracies, Absurdities, (Un)Realities

Absurdity in Bureaucracy
“The proposal would mean anyone hosting a party with 40 or more people invited would have to register the event with the police.”
I cant say that I’ve attended many parties that have over 40 folks at one spot. That aside, where does this regulation stop? Would events hosted by churches, which in my experience, typically have well over 40 people in attendance be subject to regulation?
Bureaucratic Priorities:
“They paid people to tear out plants that everyone loves? Well, this is cause for insurrection. Talk about fixing something that’s not broken.”
Communities go without fireworks, mine included, while bureaucrats spend your money on projects to remove flowers citing the cost of watering them would be too high….
The Genius of the “Entertainment Class”:
Rapper Kanye West and his socialite-fiance Kim Kardashian are reportedly planning to marry at an exotic location in Egypt.
Disconnected from reality. Not long ago another celebrity couple spent time vacationing in Cuba.
Honor System:
Instead, the federal government will rely more heavily on consumers’ self-reported information until 2015, when it plans to have stronger verification systems in place.
Pigford part duex comes to mind. What could go wrong? Our monies, by the millions, have gone to lifers in prison and illegals receiving benefits.
