Barack ‘The Great Deceiver’ Obama — A Christian? Muslim? Agnostic?

Many people think Pres. Obama is a closet Muslim. Historians tell us he was a Muslim while living in Indonesia.

Obama, of course, now claims to be a Christian and was a member of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church  of Christ in Chicago. Political critics say this was more a matter of politics than religious conviction.  His Christian church attendance since moving to Washington has been minute and he has failed to join any parish in the area.

At the very least, Obama is clearly a Muslim sympathizer. During his apology tour of the Middle East, he extolled the beauty of the Islamic call to prayer with a perfect Muslim accent. He also claimed Muslims played an important role in the founding of the USA – which is totally false.

His unwillingness to identify terrorism as radical-Islamic terrorism or radical-Muslim terrorism – even when it is obvious to everyone else – enhances the sympathizer label.  His unwillingness to call the Fort Hood massacre by a self-confessed, avowed Muslim, an act of Islamic terrorism is preposterous. His support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt – and the hiring of like-minded individuals in his administration only adds to the suspicions.

Of course, this could all be politics – Obama’s obvious obsession. He could have post-presidency, global ambitions and simply be trying to enhance an unbiased global image.

Theologically, I sense Obama may be a closet, religious agnostic, i.e., any religion will do if it enhances his political ambitions.

The U.S. Constitution may advocate freedom of religion. However, this guarantee was written under the assumption that all religions are peaceful and advocate the values enumerated in the Constitution and Bill of Rights and laws of our land. Unfortunately, radical-Islam – and even tolerant-Islam – does not meet that criteria. The evidence is overwhelming.

This, along with much else, is one reason I struggle trusting Obama — although, as an “almost-pacifist,” I suppose I should be supportive of his anti-war, anti-military orientation and his cautious approach to the Syrian gas attacks. Also, as an anti-racist, perhaps I should be supportive of Obama’s anti-colonialism, anti-imperialism orientation.

Yet, I have difficulty supporting Obama – because I don’t trust him – I don’t believe him. In fact, I consider him “The Great Deceiver.”

I do not understand – from his mouth – what Obama really and truly values, intends, and is working to achieve. Unlike Ronald Reagan, who made his values and views and intentions crystal-clear from the very beginning, Obama was and continues to be a mystery. His Words and actions are a dichotomy. He says what his audience wants to hear – what is politically expedient – but then, often does the opposite – or, at the very least, fails to follow through on his commitments. The list of examples is practically endless (the references above to his murky “religious” commitments is just one example.)

Obama fails to take responsibility for results. He spent six years blaming President Bush for every problem and failure of his administration. Now he’s got new guys to blame – Speaker John Boehner, along with the Republicans in Congress – for the ongoing decline of the American economy, its financial stability, and its leadership in the world.

I have read Obama’s books and articles and those of his advisers and supporters – as well as those of his critics – and I simply cannot figure out where Obama is really going. His actions strongly suggest he is trying to undermine the traditional American-Way, domestic American Values, and America’s foreign-policy and influence in the world.

Clearly, Obama is for wealth redistribution. He obviously doesn’t understand the economy and/or the positive effects of Competitive, Free-Market, Constitutional, Free Enterprise – when government gets out of the way.

Obama appears to favor a de facto, Marxist/Socialist/quasi-Communist system propelled by class warfare, racism, envy, majority rule, and the redistribution of wealth. He is apparently trying to discredit the traditional American-Way by spending our nation into insolvency – which I presume he will salvage by modifying the Constitution and our system of government and our economic system.

Of course, much of this is speculation since Obama will not honestly and openly state his true philosophy and strategy and intentions. However, one thing we do know is he follows the deceptive tactics and methodology of neo-communist Saul Alinsky – as summarized in his book Rules for Radicals.

That’s why I call Obama “The Great Deceiver.”
