MONSTER GATOR: New Hunter kills record breaking 1,100 pound 14-foot alligator

An alligator hunter on only his second outing in Arkansas is celebrating his success at snaring a mammoth 1,100 pound, beast nearly 14-feet long last week.

Little Rock resident, Drew Baker, shot the humungous reptile with a harpoon and then fought the rampaging animal for almost an hour before settling the battle by shooting the alligator in the head.

So pleased was Baker at his incredible catch that he managed to get most of his family to pose in pictures with the enormous alligator – which is the largest ever caught in the state of Arkansas.

‘It’s not a good attitude for a hunter to go out expecting not to get one,’ Baker told KTHV about his 13-feet 9 inch beast. ‘But they’re really tough to get up on.’

‘Honestly I thought I don’t know what I’m going to do with this thing now that I have him.’
