Hurts to Ask But: Is America Perceived as Weak?

At this moment, do you think that the U.S is perceived as a weak nation? In my opinion, the short answer for that question is yes.  All one has to do is simply look at the current policies in place, look at how things are going, and you’ll see what I see. The world is losing respect for the U.S.A. I can’t imagine how many countries are salivating at the mouth hoping that we fail. Well, I don’t know about you, but I have no intention of letting that happen!

Let’s state the obvious and most-recent displays of weakness by our leaders.

Look at the recent appeasement that our President, along with his henchman Kerry, gave to the Iranian government. Iran, a country that still has American hostages, one of which happens to be the father of a colleague. However, for some reason, our fearless leaders find it necessary to come to some rinky dink atomic deal in this country. A country that clearly wants a nuclear bomb, doubtful it’s for friendly reasons, and it is a country that has American hostages!

Take note that there was no mention of the hostages during these talks. How does this show American strength? Oh, that’s right; it does not, does it? It wouldn’t be prudent to discuss releasing any American hostages during a chat about sanctions. No, that would not be prudent at all. Great job Obama, great job Kerry. You have managed to weaken our country even more in the eyes of the international community.

Let’s continue then, shall we? This morning I read about Lance Corporal Gregory Buckley, a U.S Marine that was murdered by a so-called tea or chai boy in Afghanistan, back in 2012. Even more terrible yet, is the fact that this Marine predicted that he would be murdered in his sleep or via some other cowardly method like that. In a letter to his father, Buckley wrote that he felt he was in danger, he told his dad how evil and bad some of the people over there were. Not only did Buckley reach out with his concerns, but there were communications from a Major Jason Brezler attempting to warn the Marines on the base about the evil, Afghan police commander, Afghanarwar Jan!

His word also fell on deaf ears. Lo and behold, two weeks later, Buckley and several others were killed. They were killed by the tea boy, with the police commander’s own weapon. Unarmed men, killed through some jihad, just a few weeks before they were due back home!  What was done then to protect our Marines? Nada! Nada was done then, and nada is being done today to bring that murderer to justice! Though he didn’t pull the trigger himself, there is strong reason to believe that this was all his plan.

Yesterday I also read an op-ed that spoke about some people that came to the U.S border from Mexico, they then started launching rocks and bottles at our border patrol agents. Of course, the agents couldn’t do too much as they are required to exercise restraint when defending themselves, but they tried to hold the fort. Personally, when dealing with someone that is endangering my life, I’d like very much to return in kind! In my opinion these people were testing just how much they can get away with, and what the consequences would be. The response here was also very inappropriate. I encourage our guys to meet force with greater force. I assure you that if this were handled properly, they won’t pull this kind of a stunt again!

Let’s not even get started on the Bengazhi 4. The ultimate betrayal by our leaders, and a major display of weakness for our country. The terrorist knew that we were outnumbered, and they took advantage of that to make it all work in their favor. Our government knew that these attacks were coming, they lied to cover it up, they didn’t respond in time, and due to this, four Americans are dead. Thank you, Hillary, it’s not surprising that a Clinton makes it into this article is it?

Do you think all this is a coincidence, or is there something terribly wrong here? Any General who tries to take steps to protect our men and women in uniform is ostracized by this administration! Team Obama has been hard at work getting rid of General after General, stripping our military of much needed, experienced, senior leadership. He seems to be hell-bent on topping the legacy of screwing our military, a legacy that was left behind by the only other president who didn’t serve in our military, Bill Clinton. Do you remember his bs policies that took away major gun rights on military bases? Oh, look, another Clinton makes my article.

Both of these men, Obama and Clinton, not having served in uniform, were/are in command of the single most powerful war machine in existence, yet neither of them has ever been a part of it. Is it no wonder how they both implemented policies that are, for lack of a better word, “mentally challenged?”

Since we are talking about Clinton and his policies, we can’t forget about that dirt bag, Major Hasan, aka the Fort Hood shooter. Had these guys been able to carry guns on base, perhaps he wouldn’t have been able to kill so many innocent people. Hasan was an American soldier whom they didn’t question because they didn’t want to offend him, cause you know, he’s Muslim and that would be profiling. Even though they had strong reason to believe that he was up to no good, they didn’t question him.

So yeah, don’t offend anyone, let them keep killing Americans for the sake of being politically correct. It seems that our guys are always sacrificed for some other country’s bull crap, politically correct agenda. They also didn’t investigate the police commander, Jan, because they didn’t want to offend the Afghans. These politically correct fools must be removed from office, for the sake of this once great land!

These Afghan soldiers in training are killing our guys. Our soldiers are over there trying to help them, yet they kill them and claim Jihad. Yet, there we remain, providing year after year of support. We may have gone in there to destroy the terrorist camps, and perhaps we did. But we then started our own terrorist training grounds, the only difference is that now they wear a different uniform and train under the guise of being Afghan police.

If I had my way, I’d withdraw every troop from there and let the country sort itself out. Then if I notice a new camp spring up, I’d send in one of those drones and turn the entire area into a parking lot. I certainly would not sign any 10 year extensions, and I certainly wouldn’t allow the Afghans to kill any more Americans like this! Finally, I would most certainly investigate anyone that set off any red flags, regardless of race, culture, or creed.

So what do you think? Have our leaders made our great country weak?
