Desperate Democrats are doing their best to revive the tired anthem chants that Republican’s are waging a ‘war on women.’ Because while it’s a dying theme with much of the public who are beginning to send that card back as “expired” there is still a portion of the ill informed population that eats it up. Unfortunately, non-thinkers vote.
Despite the fact that more women have lost more jobs than ever before under the Obama administration than under any other President in United States history, they are bringing back their talking points in an effort to woo women to the polls to pull the lever for a Democrat.
As an extremely politically informed woman, there is nothing that irritates me more than that ridiculous moniker. It won’t be long before we see the “Sluts Vote” pins that were worn at the DNC reminding women that they must not think outside of their “lady parts”- an embarrassment to those of us who vote with our brain.
That being said, I will agree that there really is a war on women on a couple of fronts. But the missiles are being lobbed from the liberal agenda.
Women all over this country are in positions that they have never been in before. Many, for the first time, are taking over the mantle of breadwinner because their husbands have lost their jobs. On the way to work they are stopping for gas and realizing that they only have enough to cover half a tank because they also have to stop on the way home and pick up a packet of diapers and milk. Many more are using food stamps for the first time in their lives and realizing that the hope and change that they voted for aren’t translating into their every day existence. It’s great on a hallmark card but hard to live off of.
Listening to the non-ending abortion rhetoric under the guise of “war on women” is insulting for those of us who have family and friends we are watching struggle. We want to know why Obama, if he has all of the answers, hasn’t already done something about the $16 trillion debt, the 47 million on food stamps, and the soaring and devastating unemployment problem in this country?
Furthermore, liberals have played God for too long. They’ve spent years determining which lives have value and which lives do not. Gender has played an enormous role on that and it is dangerous to be a baby girl in utero these days. In fact, since the 1970′s over 163 Million baby girls worldwide have been aborted by parents who preferred sons. Conservatives feel that tiny women in the womb are just as precious and valuable as those who manage to escape alive. So much for women’s liberation, eh? It seems as if a women’s “choice” has them eliminating their own gender from the planet.
In addition, the Democrat party is a party who not only protects their leaders from the consequences of their lecherous behavior towards women, but they go even further to promote them to superstar status within their party. See Anthony Weiner, Spitzer, Filner, and the kingpin of serial harassment of women…Bill Clinton. Rand Paul was right when he recently commented that Democrats should be embarrassed to be seen with Bill Clinton because of his history of mistreating women, starting with his wife who continues to “stand by her scum” despite it all, which in my opinion places her in a “war on women” of her own!
So, women, wake up to the facts! Take off your blinders and start asking questions. Why does Obama continue to preach “equal pay for equal work” when women in HIS White House are STILL being paid less than the men??
According to the D.C. based American Enterprise Institute, female White House staffers are paid less than 87 cents for every dollar paid to men who work at the White House.
The Obama administration refuses to practice what they preach and they continue to accuse Republicans of holding women down. But the facts say something different:
The earning power of young single women has surpassed that of their male peers in metropolitan areas around the U.S., a shift that is being driven by the growing ranks of women who attend college and move on to high-earning jobs.
In 2008, single, childless women between ages 22 and 30 were earning more than their male counterparts in most U.S. cities, with incomes that were 8% greater on average, according to an analysis of Census Bureau data released Wednesday by Reach Advisors, a consumer-research firm in Slingerlands, N.Y.
This ridiculous phrase accusing Republicans of a “war on women” is nothing but a lot of tricks with the left hand to keep us distracted from what is happening in the other hand. It is nothing but another invitation for more Americans to belly up to the pig and live off the government teat and avoid asking the REAL question…are you better off now than you were 5 years ago?
This woman will be voting with her brain. I hope you will join me!
