Obama, Best Prez in History; Fallacy #7: Obama Is One ‘Cool Cat’
Upon reading Mr. Blogger’s seventh reason why Barack Obama is the greatest, I had to go back to the top to make sure he was actually an adult. Yup, he is an adult. His writing and reasoning reminds me of a paper one might see in Junior High or possibly High School shortly after reading Shakespeare’s Othello (pomp and circumstance). I guess we shouldn’t expect too much from the liberal side. Moving forward, here is Mr. Blogger’s seventh attempt to let us know why Barry is the best president in history.
7.He is for doing away with pomp and circumstance. Let’s be real -Obama is one cool cat. As the 44th president of the United States, he has changed the face of the Oval Office forever. Many suggest Obama’s casual demeanor and informal interaction with the American people is inappropriate, and even downright offensive. Millions of people, however -me included -perceive his relaxed deportment, humorous candor and outright honesty as a breath of fresh air. In spite of the fact that he is a politician, and the president, there is something about him that makes him real and relatable. Even though he is the most powerful man in the world, he is, at heart, just a man. In almost four years under perhaps the most intense public scrutiny ever placed upon an American president, he has never lost sight of the fact that he bleeds red, just like everyone else.
Pompous Obamous has done away with circumstance because any course of action he takes bears no consequence. Establishment Republicans needs to be held partially responsible for this because they have let him disrespectfully thumb his nose at the citizens while trampling on the Constitution. For this reason alone, Barry has changed not only the Oval Office forever but the way Americans look at indecency and incompetence within our government. Obama’s “casual demeanor” really doesn’t bother me as much as his “informal interaction”. I guess if he could speak in full sentences without a teleprompter that might make a difference and I see absolutely NO humor in his candor!
What Mr. Blogger points out next just about sent me through the roof and has me concerned about his mental capacity. I believe Mr. B is talking about the president when he says “his outright honesty” is “a breath of fresh air”. Need I remind you, before Obama was even a president he said he would have one of the most transparent administrations in history. Let’s take a look at the short list of Obama’s “honesty”.
At Obama’s Inauguration on January 20, 2009, he took this oath and stated, “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”. This oath holds no weight if one neither believes in God nor the Constitution. This was Barry’s first “honest” moment at the gate of his presidency.
In Barry’s first year he made many “honest” statements that had some scratching their head. He claimed to be a Christian and on several occasions made this statement, “My individual salvation depends on our collective salvation”. I am uncertain what denomination believes in collective salvation. He also said, “I am not somebody who promotes same-sex marriage”, “Guantanamo Bay will be closed within a year”, “No Earmarks in the $787 Billion Stimulus”, “Cut Deficit in Half by end of first term” and “Health Care deals will be covered on C-span”. Within Obama’s first year, he had earned the name “Liar in Chief” due to his “honesty”.
Here are some memorable highlights of Obama’s “honesty” from his second year in office: “The health care bill will not increase the deficit by one dime”, “If you like the health care plan you have you can keep it”, ObamaCare “Fee is not a new tax”, “Under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions, and federal conscience laws will remain in place.”, the Health Care Package will pay for itself, Obama says he’ll save average family $8,000 in gas and from Barry’s Oval office speech in June of 2010, “We have run out of places in the US to drill for oil.”
During Obama’s third year in office, he came out with more whoppers. In his January 2012 State of the Union Address, President Obama said that “American oil production is the highest that it’s been in eight years”. After giving aid to not only our enemy but also Israel’s enemy, he had the audacity to say, “I’ve done more for Israel’s security than any President ever”. Continuing on, “Every idea that we’ve put forward are ones that traditionally have been supported by Democrats and Republicans alike”, “rich doesn’t pay their fair share” and the fence between US and Mexico is “Practically Complete”.
In the fourth year of Barry’s stay at the White House acting as president, we were told: Benghazi violence was caused by an internet video, “Mitt Romney Plans to fire Big Bird”, “I think it’s important for us to understand that the Fast and Furious program was a field-initiated program begun under the previous administration”, because of Obamacare, “over the last two years, health care premiums have gone up — it’s true — but they’ve gone up slower than any time in the last 50 years.”, and of course the one we all know so well, “You Didn’t Build that”.
At the end of the year in 2013, Obama received the “Biggest Lie of the Year” reward for saying, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it,” but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing his pathological habit in 2014. So far, a few of his untruths are: “First of all, I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line”, “I said Benghazi was a terrorist attack from the beginning” and “The NSA is not abusing its power”.
All I have to say is, Mr. Blogger, we are tired of Obama’s “honesty”.
