Under Obamacare: BEIN’ BORED AIN’T SO BAD…UNLESS YOU’RE A TEEN-AGER

When you think about it…being bored isn’t so bad. It means you don’t have to worry about gettin’ fired, beat up, yelled at, laid off, shot at or making pay-roll. On the other hand, it also usually means you have to sit around in the company of a bunch of nameless, faceless, shiftless, sychophantic, self-aggrandizing, back-side-kissin’ dorks. After you’ve been around guys like that for a while they will bore you beyond your wildest dreams.

I’m sure that long exposure to these sort of people is a primary cause of postal-shooting sprees. That and psychotropic medications. The conventional wisdom was once that such shooters were family sorts who also believed both the Second Amendment and the Bible should be taken liberally. Guys who believed (horrors!) babies should be born and loved instead of sliced and diced while in the womb. You know, Tea Party types.

Wait a minute! I got this all mixed up. Now I remember…I got bored yesterday and without thinking I watched big Media TV for about five minutes. And that’s where I got those ideas about Tea Partiers. Weird.

It’s all coming back to me now. Tea Party guys are never the shooters. Now i recall. The shooters are always on psychotropic medications …and registered Democrats.

Steve Bowers

Steve Bowers grew up on a farm in Indiana, attended Indiana University and went into the construction business. While working on a construction project at a law school he was appalled at how lawyers could screw stuff up on a simple building project. Thinking he could do better, Steve went to law school. He’s pretty naive.
