The Secret to Obama’s Success: No One is Listening to What He’s Saying
One of the secrets of Barack Obama’s success is his ability to say things that will sound both plausible and inspiring to uninformed people, even when they sound ridiculous to people who know the facts. Apparently he believes the former outnumber the latter, and the election results suggest that he may be right.

To the delight of the slobbering sisterhood of empty skirts, some of whom where born female, and therefore without the need for remedial castration, that we collectively call “the media,” last weekend, the NFL drafted an open homosexual, one Michael Sam. Even better, he celebrated by smooching “a gentleman we assume is his boyfriend,” as one press dullard said, setting off a collective swoon heard round the world, and a ridiculous stampede of liberal media newsreaders trying to outdo each other with their gushing over this unfortunate PDA (Public Display of Affection). They think they are proving how open-minded, modern and tolerant they are, but the truth is that their conscientious determination to push the public’s face in the “fact” that homosexuality is wholesome, normal and if anything, vastly superior to that icky 1950’s style traditional family has jumped the shark.
The Michael Sam draft was so significant that it inspired our Dear Reader, Barack Hussein Obama, to issue an official statement, which I think is a higher level of commendation than a tweet, but perhaps not as significant as a hashtag. Anyway, he stated, “The President congratulates Michael Sam, the Rams and the NFL for taking an important step forward in our Nation’s journey. From the playing field to the corporate boardroom, LGBT Americans prove everyday that you should be judged by what you do and not who you are.”
Like so many of the pearls of wisdom that drop from Barack’s preternatural lips, this statement appears to make sense, unless of course one pays attention to the actual meaning of the words.
“[Y]ou should be judged by what you do and not who you are.” That sounds so beautiful, so embracing of “diversity,” and so “inclusive” that I can practically hear the Oprah saying it while she’s sitting on her couch on the verge of tears. It’s so emotionally compelling that I almost realized that it’s so full of inherent contradictions that it is utterly nonsensical.
“You should be judged by what you do.” I thought liberals were opposed to anyone being “judgmental,” but remember, if they say it, it’s ok. So, it’s not only acceptable. He encourages us to “judge” the merits of what other people do. But wait. Those who disapprove of homosexual behavior are expressing their belief, often rooted in Biblical teachings, about exactly that. Behavior, some of which frankly is so disgusting that I wouldn’t even begin to describe it here on a family site. Particularly discerning readers have probably noticed something, however subtle it may be; specifically, that “what you do” and “behavior” mean the same thing! That point seems to have gone over Barack’s head, and that of his P.C.-addled, cliche-loving speech writers.
And it’s not like Barack Obama and the militant homosexual activists who cheer silly pap like this statement actually believe in “judging” those of us who oppose so-called same-sex marriage and consider homosexuality immoral and bad for society for what we do. I believe in treating everyone with respect, being polite to them, and minding my own business, but of course, live and let live has never been good enough for this bunch. You have to have your mind right. Just ask the Mozilla guy. The tolerant, freedom-loving Left enthusiastically supports the idea of thought crimes.
“[A]”nd not who you are.” I remain astounded that some people are so desperate to be part of an identity group that they willingly surrender their individuality to be reduced to being a soldier in some liberal political mascot group. I reject the notion that the way a person chooses to experience sexual pleasure is “who he is.” Seriously? I guess that’s why today we have parades so that half-naked guys can prance around on the back of flatbed trucks to blasting Donna Summer songs every summer in most major American cities, demonstrating their “pride” at the way they like to get down. When are the guys who like to do it doggie-style going to have a parade? What about the toe suckers? Are we so intolerant that we want them to hide “who they are?” Or maybe there’s more to a person than his or her sexuality.
The fact that, with the Middle East in flames, militant Islamism on the march, and millions of Americans suffering in a stagnant economy, the President of the United States can waste mental energy on such foolishness is appalling. If he’s going to do so, he should at least say something that makes some sense.
