In Nigeria, 200 plus schoolgirls were abducted from their boarding school. Young ladies trying to learn and better their lives were terrorized and torn from their families.
According to their abductors, all have been “converted” to Islam and were sold as “brides” to the militants of this radical militant group for about $12 each.
It is absolutely abhorrent that innocent children have been subjected to such abuse.
Let’s examine the type of man that would need to buy a $12 child bride.
The Encyclopedia Britannica defines pedophilia as:
A psychosexual disorder in which an adult’s arousal and sexual gratification occur primarily through sexual contact with prepubescent children. The typical pedophile is unable to find satisfaction in an adult sexual relationship and may have low self-esteem, seeing sexual activity with a child as less threatening than that with an adult. Most pedophiles are men. The condition is extremely rare in women.
Here are the facts of the situation.
It is a psychosexual disorder found primarily in men who have low self-esteem. What better way for a man, who is deficient as a husband for a grown woman, to find a way to subjugate his spouse?
In the male supremacy practiced by Islam, girls as young as eight years old can be “married” to an adult male. How simple is it to terrorize such a young “bride?” Of course, the adult is going to be the winner in any conflict or contest. After many years of sexual and mental abuse, the girl is completely downtrodden, and the man feels that he is in charge of his woman. That is not to mention the numerous children the child bride has been forced to bear before her body is barely mature enough. She and her offspring are financially dependent on the husband for their livelihood.
It is not so much about sex, it is more about control.
For this inadequate man, his religion gives him the opportunity to be king of his castle, so to speak. It is their “ordained” religious practice.
Society is trying to welcome this type of law. No one must offend practices of Islam or their ways.
There are many areas in the United States and Europe where Sharia law is allowed by acquiescence.
Local authorities are often reluctant to interfere in ethnic customs.
Islam is not the only religion that devalues women. Many cultures that have been allowed to immigrate en masse to the United States have customs that keep women downtrodden.
If there is a “war on women,” it is not being practiced by any political party here.
It is being allowed to infiltrate our society with a wink and nod.
Our daughters deserve their place in our Christian society. Stop the apathy now.
