Hypocrisy Alert! Democrat Bullies In Their Glass Pulpits

Barack Obama is a bully. So is Harry Reid. And the various national LGBT organizations, they’re bullies too. And the NAACP…. Climate Change Clingers… Pro-Choicers… Unions… And Bureaucrats. We can’t forget the faceless bureaucrats! All of them are bullies.
It’s as if being a bully is a prerequisite for being a Progressive Liberal Democrat.
Bullies are mean. And they try to be scary. They wield real and imagined power like a club. Their goal is to extort, silence, and control. They use words like “tolerance” while ironically being the most intolerant people in the room. The mainstream media runs cover for them. And sheep who are afraid of being called “racist,” or “homophobic,” or “against the poor” nod their heads and vote to keep their Bully-Masters in power.
Recently, Democrats have been on a bullying rampage, going after private citizens in a quest to stifle any and all opposition to their big-government, radical agenda.
Harry Reid has been leading this charge as of late. Teetering on the edge of irrelevance, Reid is using his position as Senate Majority Leader to make headlines and line his own pockets. He went after private citizen Cliven Bundy, a rancher in a long-time dispute over Federal land and grazing rights.
(Cue the bully clarion call of “racist!”)
The dispute has been going on for decades. But suddenly it became important enough for the Federal Bureau of Land Management to get involved, complete with snipers. Why? Well, because Reid wants Bundy’s land for a crony-kickback scheme he has going with a solar panel company. So the Senate Majority leader made war on a private individual…
But that’s not Reid’s only war on private citizens. No, he has also taken to the Senate floor to publicly lambast the Koch Brothers, successful industrialists who create thousands of jobs, give to dozens of charities, and – well what do you know! – support Conservatives.
(Cue the bully rant “corporations aren’t people!”)
So Reid, deathly afraid that he will lose his dictator-like power, spends time on the Senate floor insulting a couple of businessmen. He claims that the Koch Brothers unfairly influence politics with their money, ignoring the fact that they give nowhere near the enormous amount of money that other corporations give to Democrats.
And then there’s the various highly organized Homosexual Rights coalitions, who make war on anybody who dares to believe in the Bible or true marriage. First they went after Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame for basically quoting Scripture. But Phil’s legion of fans were too powerful a force for the Gay Mafia, and A&E TV quickly rescinded their ban on the Christian Patriarch in the face of collapsing profits.
(Cue the bully cry of “homophobe!”)
Not to be cowed, however, the LGBT Crew targeted some more Bible-Believers, this time home contractors/remodelers, the Benham Brothers. These guys – who are also targets of the Pro-Abortion crowd – were about to launch a show on HGTV where they would reconstruct homes for poor and disadvantaged people. HGTV caved immediately and canceled their show before it began.
You know, because gay outrage and dead babies trumps poor people in need of shelter.
The Democrats are militant when it comes to silencing dissenting points of view. In fact, they have blown holes in the US Constitution many times to do it.
There was the “Fairness Doctrine” with the goal of stifling Conservative talk radio, because Liberal talk radio couldn’t make any money and thus has no air presence of its own.
Then came the Thought Police and the “hate” crimes legislation of the 1990s. Because, you know, murder is different when it’s a white guy pulling the trigger.
And just recently, the FEC went on the record saying they were contemplating going after Conservative radio and TV hosts, claiming that these shows were really fronts for Conservative political activity. As if the IRS going after 10% of individual TEA Party donors wasn’t bad enough!
Oh, and there’s the FBI investigating Cliven Bundy supporters… And the Democrat proposal to scour the internet looking for Hate Speech… And… Well, you get the picture – the dark picture of Democrat power-mongers stalking individuals, looking to stifle opposition with bully tactics.
It’s enough to make a person run scared. Maybe stop writing political commentary. Put away the keyboard for good.
Nah, what it really is, is enough to send Conservatives to the rooftops to shout the truth: “The Liberals are coming! The Liberals are coming!”
So let them come, these Democrat bullies. Let them throw stones like the hypocrites they are. I’m going to love watching their glass pulpits shatter.
