WEIRD SIMILARITIES: Hitler/Obama, a Comparison; Pt. 3

by John DeGroff
Clash Daily Contributor

In part 1 of this article, we dealt with similarities in the origins, parents and activities such as writing and public speaking of Hitler and Obama. Part 2 focused on their perspective rise to power, inner circles and style of governing.

Part 3 follows:

#9.   Anti-Semitism

There were two things that were constants throughout his life: 1) the music of Richard Wagner, and 2) anti-Semitism.  According to Hitler himself, it was sometime in 1907-08 when he became anti-Semitic.  This was period of time of his mother’s death and his rejection from the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts.  Both instances involved Jews.  Eduard Bloch was Klara Hitler’s Jewish doctor.  The Arts Academy had many Jewish directors and teachers.

Hitler’s anti-Semitism lasted until the end of his life.  Right before committing suicide, he dictate his final political testament which blamed the Jews for the war.

While it would be a stretch to equate Hitler’s type of anti-Semitism to Obama, it is nonetheless  evident Obama has no love for the Jewish state or its citizens.

Raised by Socialists, schooled in an Islamic school (or madrasa), and pastored by an extreme anti-American and anti-Semitic preacher, is it any wonder that Obama, as president, has turned his back on Israel?   Just a short list of his anti-Semitic acts: criticized Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas, has not sought a ban on Iran’s nuclear project, has openly insulted Israel’s leadership, and oh, let’s not forget that he bowed before Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah.

#10. Leadership style

Much has been written about Hitler’s personal leadership style.  While he was a powerful speaker with an exceptional, controlling personality, he was personally lazy.  He never got up before noon, never kept strict office hours, and would stay up until 4 a.m. or later, haranguing subordinates with long-winded monologues.

When war started, he very seldom changed this routine.  When the D-Day invasion of Normandy happened on June 6, 1944, he didn’t find out about it until early afternoon because no one wanted to wake him up to tell him.

Hitler, who considered himself a military genius, never listened to his generals.  His political ideology trumped all war planning and tactical advice.

Germany never had a “total war” economy.  Vast amounts of men and material were taken from the war effort in order to implement the Final Solution.

Obama’s style has similarities.  While he does keep something resembling regular hours, affairs of state seem to be far less important than fund raising, golf, vacations, and celebrity parties.

The current crisis with ISIS, or ISIL (…or whatever they are this week), also proves Obama doesn’t listen to his generals, let alone attend his own intelligence briefings. As with Hitler, Obama will not alter his ideological viewpoint on any given situation, reality be damned.

In conclusion….
Granted, all ten Hitler/Obama comparisons can be a lot more detailed and in depth than space allows here.  But any serious and honest student of history will admit the situational similarities are too frightening to be ignored.

May God grant us the wisdom to pay attention.
