REAGAN REDUX: ‘Are You Better Off Today’ Than …

Written by William Pauwels on November 4, 2014

Do you ever wonder why the USA has experienced such economic difficulty during the past six years under a Democratic Administration?

Frankly, the Democratic Party is a handout party.  It pays perfectly healthy people not to work – sometimes even more than they would earn by working.  When you pay people not to work, you get more non-workers.  Clearly, the Dems have minimal regard for the Laws of Economics – thus the exploding federal spending deficits and growing national debt – now approaching $18 trillion.

The Democrat Party is the party of division. The Dems pit Blacks against Whites, men versus women, rich against poor, unions versus employers, Capitalists and Conservatives against Socialist, Liberals and Progressives, Catholics versus Protestants, Straights against Gays, Republicans versus Democrats, etc.

Frankly, the Democrat political strategy of divide and conquer has enabled the Dems to win more than their fair share of elections in recent years – despite their inability to effectively govern, lead, and responsibly budget and spend.

Dem ineptitude has prevented our nation from solving its economic and employment problems.  It has prevented our nation from enhancing the American-Way* – The American Prosperity Machine*, which once made the USA the most prosperous nation for the greatest number in the history of the world.

If you’re Black, Hispanic, poor, unemployed, gay, or a minority of any kind  – ask yourself if you’re better off today than you were six years ago when Obama/Reid/Pelosi /Clinton/Liberal-Leftist-Progressives promised all kinds of improvements and gained control of the federal bureaucracy and military.  If not, perhaps it’s time to reinstate the Republican, time-tested and proven . . .

American-Way* ― The American Prosperity Machine*:   Traditional Judeo/Christian principles and values . . . the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness . . . freedom of speech, action, religion and family governance . . .  an educated and informed society . . . freedom from gender and racial discrimination . . . affordable healthcare . . . the rule of Constitutional Law . . . the peaceful settlement of disputes . . . honest elections and presidential leadership . . . patriotic, truthful, checks-and-balanced, limited government  . . .  a strong military . . . cost-effective national defense . . . secure borders . . . the right of citizens to own and bear arms . . . free, competitive markets and institutions . . . properly-regulated, free-enterprise . . . balanced trade . . . private property rights . . . low cost, domestically supplied energy and natural resources . . . controlled immigration . . . individual responsibility and ingenuity . . . entrepreneurialism . . . a strong work ethic . . . full employment . . . fair pay . . . appropriate safety nets . . . low taxes . . . a strong, reliable currency . . . financial availability, mobility, and responsibility (balanced budget, minimal debt) . . . Competitive, Free-Market, Free-Enterprise, Constitutionally Limited Government  . . . and American Exceptionalism.

When government taxes workers . . . and pays non-workers . . . we get more non-workers and a sluggish economy.  We now have 22 million underemployed workers. . . . Government Policy Should Make the Poor, Rich . . . Not the Rich, Poor!

In God we must trust . . . but we must always do our part – to secure and promote the truth and the proven, time-tested way, and to protect our freedom and interests.  So VOTE REPUBLICAN and bring the Obama cabal under responsible congressional control!
