VE DAY ANNIVERSARY REMINDS US: Federalizing the Police, Not a Good Idea

Among Obama’s earliest desire was to establish a Federal Police force that was more powerful than even our military. He, with the Department of Homeland Security, (DHS) and the Department of Justice, (DOJ) have slowly but deliberately promoted and weaseled toward that end. That intent is no longer covert. Following Eric Holder’s efforts, Loretta Lynch is going all out to accomplish that end. Within days of taking office, she went to Baltimore and convinced the mayor to request a total review of a majority minority police department for Federal Civil Rights violations, (racism).

Let us look ahead to what the result will be if through Lynch, Obama accomplishes his goal of Nationalizing the police. Federal police would not file charges in a municipal court. Therefore the court would also need to be elevated to Federal level. The same goes for County Sheriffs and District/Superior Courts. Next would be the State Police, logically followed by the State Court system. All Federalized.

It is pure logic that like dominoes, the fall of city, county, and then state law enforcement and the courts they depend on would fall to the control of the DOJ and DHS. And who controls these two Federal Departments? The President! And if that President believes that “Executive Orders” overrule the Constitution, the result is a National Police Force and Court system controlled by one person that is best described as an “Empire Leader.

On the day I write this, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe, (VE Day).

That was the day the world was freed from an “Empire Leader” and “National Police Force”. The German translation for each was, “Reich Fuhrer” and “Gestapo”.

Who among the readers says history doesn’t repeat?
