TEACHERS AS PSYCHOLOGISTS FOR THEIR STUDENTS? Texas Legislator Considers the Possibility

Here is a story that I think has slipped under the radar. Whether or not this passes, it is cause for concern because it would provide teachers an easy way to complicate all of our lives with little to no experience on the subject matter.

Last I checked, teachers were being paid and qualified only to teach. Since when are they mental health experts? I love our teachers, but Villalba is overstepping in my opinion.
