AN APOLOGY TO OUR FOUNDERS: America Has Forsaken Their Vision

This weekend we commemorate the 4th. Of July. It is the day we celebrate our independence from tyranny as one nation.

The battle was hard fought but Americans persevered, because freedom was something those long dead men knew would mean something for generations to come.

Freedom was an inheritance earned in blood forged by the will of God.

Sadly today many people have no idea why we celebrate the 4th.

Lately my mind often wanders to the thought of another revolution. A revolution against the men and women who seek to impose their own type of tyranny against their fellow countrymen.

A tyranny that has eaten slowly away at the fabric of our liberties. Like flea bites.

Little by little, year by year so that the change is barely noticeable, until we find ourselves goose stepping alongside evil in a country Thomas Jefferson would hardly recognize.

Recently the Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage. And most people may think, Who cares if men want to marry men or women want to marry women? It’s not my business.

And to some extent this is true. Most Americans have a live-and-let-live attitude. The problem is that this attitude, while an accepting one, is no longer allowed, for some.

Today special rights not granted by our Constitution require a complete and total act of devotion. No opinions, no questions please. In liberal America today’s rulings are nothing short of fascism.

These special rights for only special Americans are a bitter pill force fed to us by the Godless, selfish totalitarians who care nothing for the rights of Christian Americans, the continuing backbone of our country.

Only the favored or trendy have rights, the rest of us are immigrants in our own land.

A couple In Iowa found this to be true when they were fined for refusing to allow a lesbian couple use of their facilities for their gay marriage ceremony.

Or the Christian women in Texas fined for feeding the poor.

Or the student in Wisconsin who was told to remove all biblical references from her project or she would be failed. She was also told she would be failed for even discussing religion in connection with it.

In fact the professor made it clear that any references to religion are not welcome in her class and would not be tolerated.

Tolerated!?

And the Oregon couple who lost their court battle after refusing to bake a cake for a same sex wedding. Not only are they being forced to violate their convictions but have to pay the “couple” $135,000 for emotional damages. Saying no in the land of freedom is now considered emotional trauma.

Obama’s ICE officials have released more than 100 illegal immigrants this year who have gone on to commit 121 murders in our country.

Over 30 Americans have already been arrested for planning terror attacks during the July 4th celebrations. Planned by animals that the Obama administration should be doing their utmost to keep us safe from.

And the Muslim Chief of Police in Detroit (I believe) has warned that anyone who breaks curfew during Ramadan will be arrested. Let’s be clear not just Muslims, but ANYONE!

As a young girl, Anne Frank understood the reasons behind anti-Semitism. She knew instinctively that it was the ethics and values of the Jewish religion that people found so threatening. The same ethics and values passed on to Christians through Jesus Christ.

Today in America and all over the world, Christians are starting to experience the same prejudices as the Jews in Nazi Germany. It may not seem quite as bad yet, but it started the same way!

So yes, my mind has been wandering to the thought of revolution. On this day of celebration I want instead to apologize to those amazing men who started this country out with a vision. The vision of a land where religious freedom could thrive and the tyranny of English rule would be forever abolished. Sadly, those dreams and visions have only lasted in some memories, the dream is almost at an end, the oppression of England reborn once again through liberals.
